  1. I have no problem with speed cameras and the like but if they really are for road safety why do the sneeky gets put them on straight duel carriageways and yet out side our primary school there is nowt and drivers blaring by! Just a cash cow and nowt about road safety Imo. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Redwoods after sales is second to none, unlike many other "dealers " I have used. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. All 750k machines suffer from cracking, quad chips and the new tw 230 have had there fair share, the Forst isn't a 750k machine but neither of mine has show cracking or broken welds etc. The new forst 6" petrol might change things though, as I'm told it's basically an st6 with a shortened chassis and the heavy diesel swapped for a 38hp petrol! Proper 6" machine with decent power but under 750k genius really, keep good size metal where it matters and loose the one major heavy bit! Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. I'm looking at buying a second machine in spring, another Forst will be top of the list but might be a GM who knows. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Small plant will go back to petrol simply due to omissions and the fact of fitting all the gubbins associated with clean diesels isn't practical to fit on small confined machines. The plus side is one day we can spec a chipper with a flat 4 scooby engine with big bore exhaust [emoji13] Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Any one used a tuning box on a puma? Plenty of go on its own but could do with a few more ponies when to towing. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Had a qc , was a good machine, did what it was supposed to but like any sub 750k machine they suffer from build issues and are a total pita to service. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

Exactly what I do, tractor powers both. Great for arb waste you just have to think how to use it, so much easier than a chainsaw but a chainsaw is still needed for bigger stuff. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Not far wrong .the guy is a complete stroker! Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

Thanks Andrew, I'm happy to purchase the used parts if you want to sell them or I can send mine back, it's a shame really as it's a nice saw too use but the reliability issues spoil it. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. I just had a dump. Wiped myself as well! Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

Thanks Andrew but the pot is goosed with a big score mark down it. It's not a lean sieze no metal transfer or anything just a big score mark where the ring has gone through the cylinder and scored the pot. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

I have a 550 as well and it's a lovely little saw, don't get me wrong I loved the dolly but quality just isn't right, took pot off today and the ring has broke up and put a hole right through the side of the piston! No non gen spares either and it's 200 quid to fix just on parts so I guess it's now a paper weight! Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

Well my Dolmar 5105 blew up for the second time in 2 years, lost all compression again and scored the piston, this time on Aspen. In the 2 and a half years I have had it it has scored the piston twice and the coil failed once, not been abused either, pretty poor build quality imo and not up to commercial use.
