  1. We have smas as well, 50quid as it's "piggy backed" of CHAS I do all the H&S paperwork every year never use an out side firm. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. We all have green labourer cards, never been asked for anything else, also never not been asked for them on a site so cscs and chas is more important than aaac Imo Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Just started a clearance job at what used to be RAF Church Fenton, old Sgt mess still there with the accommodation and boiler house, this part has not been used for nearly 20yrs and is quite eary. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. You dowt boozer later on cos I am![emoji13] Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. I was all for the aaac and very nearly jumped in, I have plenty of work and have never been asked for it but I thought it was the next step until the Bartletts cock up, all seems to have gone quite with that, has that depot lost the accreditation? I doubt it as it's Bartletts, if that had been a small Co they would of been stripped of it, it's a scheme that very few know about or care about, in reality it's just jobs for the boys! If the AA had stripped Bartletts of there accreditation it would of added a lot of value to the whole scheme Imo. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

    New saw required

Get your head round it .it's really quite simple. 1 brand new stihl has been re built 3 times and still has the well known clutch problem. My Dolmar has been the most unreliable saw I have bough in the last 10 yrs and my 2x560 and 1x550 have been faultless and get worked hard! Lucky/unlucky probably but that's the way it is! New saw required

Husky are a doddle to start, just flick them onto fast idle and they start first or second pull warm! My 261 has been rebuild 3 times from new and us still faulty worst saw I ever bought. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

  14. What sort of money are the norcar shown, I did try to call them today but no one wanted to answer! Had a demo of the multione 5.3 went v well great little machine and punches well for a compact machine. I thought the quality looked good as well. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. There is also Taian loaders to consider, been making heavy equipment for 10 yrs so can't be so bad. There is a small dealer in Wakefield and I had a look last year, actually v good with a perkins engine and a fair bit cheaper to what has been mentioned here although the specs arnt quit as good on paper. Pole Chainsaw

Nice one mick, spoiling yourself with the harness or is that to keep your gut in? Ordered a husky in the end as I wanted a 2 stroke . Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. I have a multione 5.3 on demo on Monday. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Agree with jonny, be v careful as 1) people will take the p is and 2) it's very easy for the EA to find out and start sniffing round. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Diggers are a cheap option but one down side I have come across is as soon as you take them on a large commercial site they want the cpcs for it but never seem to ask for a mini loader. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Same here but cube meters, no weight mentioned as I can't weight them and if I was selling by weight I would sell fresh wet stuff as it's heavier! A builders bag of seasoned logs is going to weigh 300k tops. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Yeah you can Steve is the master of the dark arts, he can do anything! Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. I wouldn't rush now, take your time and make it the Easter raffle. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. Dolmar ps5105 nice little saw and Andrews service is excellent but mine has been v poor. I wouldn't rush to by another mak/Dolmar as I just don't think there up to commercial use. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Glad you guys are having good results, unfortunately my dolmar has proved to be nowhere near as reliable as my stihl and husky saws. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
