Yes I know you would if done Andrew and like I said your service is excellent, I didn't contact you as it was out of Warrenty, when it's running it's a cracking little saw but seems v fragile. In the last 2.5 yrs of having it I don't actually think it had done a year without a Major breakdown! Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. What model is yours again Dean? This is something I'm looking into at the moment, I'm going to contact multione in the new year. The vermeer skidsteers seem popular but are a lot of money . Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

Thanks for the info but I'm not sure about the 4 strokes also my Dolmar that I bought new from Andrew has been terrable from a reliabability point of view, in fact my lads won't use it as they don't want to be the next one to brake it! Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

Thanks for the info Andrew, I'm just not keen on the 4 strokes if I'm honest for this application as I think the vibe are worse than a 2 stroke also I know your service is excellent but my dolmar has been anything but reliable sinse I have had it. Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

My lr hedge cutters and saw are both 4 mix and have been good but I just don't like the vibs and a lot of people do have trouble with them, just over complicated for no real need.

So looks like its a toss up between a Husky and Echo! I do like Stihl but I don't really want another 4 mix machine.

Thanks so far, our 4 mix stuff Inc pole hedge cutter has been good but I don't like the torquey vibs on them and the noise is no better than a 2 stroke I fact I find it more annoying. Any long reach husky users? Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Pole Chainsaw

What's the latest with pole chainsaws? ours is about goosed and needs a new head and shaft so is not really worth it, its a HT101 4 mix, been good but I don't really like the 4 mix stuff, what's the husky and echo equivalent models like or just stick to stihl? Please not a husky/stihl slagging match but info from people who have used the other makes.

The shaft on mine is about buggered I think , v vibey to use and a new shaft is about 275 quid so a new complete unit I think, this has lasted 5 years so not bad really Sent from my SM-N910F using Arbtalk mobile app
