  2. Get fired in Dean, you know you want to do a bit of winter topping it's only frosty till 10am anyway i would do it if it was only as a screen and nowt flash!
  3. Cool vid Pete, might price a chopper in on my next job and see what reaction i get:ohmy: hope your ok mate, give ua a bell sometime.
  4. Dean, thats a cracking pic of Mrs lofthouse, you lucky man you:001_tt1:
  5. Thats the 1 i would go for aswell, about 80 quid ont tbay grips at one end and folds up
  6. thems the one's i though Dean, i'm sure starlings are protected as has been said, but to be honest i really cant see a solution as the area is just so big, with that many conifers on one site you aint going to stop birds roosting with out removal.Think you have to tell em to tell the neighbours its one or the other, birds and a screen or the trees go and no birds but they get an open view of the place...........cant have it both ways. think the plc needs to get a bit of back bone aswell and start telling em to **** off.
  7. Dean, is it the conifers at the brewery in Tad by any chance? if so i think i know the conifers you mean.........theres a bloody lot of em to so maybe not an option to remove em.
  8. Have to afree with ED people are muppets, how about removing the conifers? you could then take the wood home and see if that dodgy sod you caught on cam the other day turns up and swipes it.......
  9. I use tesco fuel, local and cheap stihl oil at 40-1 stihl chain oil and never had a problem filling up but there again i dont fill combi cans, i fill a gerry can and take it home where i fill the combi can.
  10. Looks like ur average pikey there Dean, well at least you have the robbin sod now:laugh1:
  11. I have been into aircraft sinse a kid and always wanted to fly so i got into microlights (for a while) great fun, expensive but the worst thing is the weather, like Bob said you will wait for weeks and then get a couple of hours flying. Microlights can handle worse weather than a parashute and there still so weather oriantated that i gave up in the end and went back to fast bikes. Go and see a club Dean and get a bit of hands on and see if you like it, on the safety front its no safer than biking really, just like bikes if you have a accident the chances of getting hurn are quite high.
  12. Yeah ya right Dean..........that is one ugly mother.......
  13. Agree with the rest, i have had a defender and a disco, loved them both but for 3k you will get a runner but thats about it. also for this money think where your going to park it, sounds daft but for 3k you WILL get an on going oil leak, i have on both vehicles, had a re build on the defender and it still leaked a bit, think its a landie thing..........still have another though.

    built in a day

Very nice Bob, he done a good job, does it cut well?
  16. Ms390 is 5cc bigger than 341, both same weight, if you look on the stihl web site the 341 comes under forestry saws, 390 under agiculture and landscaping dont know if it really matters though. get the one with the best deal afterall 60cc is big enough for a firewood saw.
  17. I thought that too, must say i think it fits you David, never meet you but some how with your upper crust LA back ground it seems to fit
  18. Huck, some of what you say is true, there are some v anal coppers out there with little man syndrome but there are some good ones, well there is round my way anyway, in general tho the whole penal system if fekked not just 1 department.........come to think of it the whole country is fekked...............dean's right let's all leg it out of here......i'm gone.....of to the costa de sol.......least theres fit birds and good weather, ya get neither in scarborough!
  19. Sadly I lost my respect for the police a long while ago, the law abideing get put upon and the crooks get away with it. Why blame the police, most coppers would love to nail most crims to a wall and flog em, you need to blame the system as a whole, all the do gooders in goverment, prison service which is run by do gooders who give cons sooo many rights it's untrue and society as a whole, it's a soft society who believe in wrapping anybody thats not in a normal life style in cotton wool and telling them it's not there fault. I agree crims do get away with it but even when coppers nick em they know they will get nowt and be back on the streets in a couple of years, also most crims couldn't give a flying f++k any way and put prison down to an occupational hazard. rant over LOL Ian (ex prison service)
  20. Dean, can ya not put a few 12g alarm mines up, scare the **** out of em! and then smear the nickable stuff with cat or dog shite (get the groundie to split this if its not nicked) both cheap and affective........
  21. Tell the wife it's ok............... the pigs didnt eat meat:001_tt2:
  22. dropped a bollock myself on boxing day, fed the dog about a kg of cooked beef (he gets dry food) and the next day was unbeliavable! doing really bad doggy farts ALL day gassed the house out at one point.............aint going to do that again in a hurry......
  23. It's amasing how neat your finish is now Dean, when you first started raggin em off with the Landie they were quite rough.........................practice makes purrrrrfect:001_tongue:
