  1. I I admit I am a bit anal when it comes to mechanical engineering and everything has to be right and to within a thou and as a result my gear is in tip top condition. But Dean your log splitter is Knackered!!!!!

    Combi Can ?

    Same here, had a stihl can with auto fill spouts for 3 years with no problems, had a husky one before that and was total crap, spouts kept sticling open then packed in all together.

  7. I would say thats a mis print then, there a shed load lighter than a 200t, i have a Makita one like the AMA and its a feather compared to a 200, half the power mind but good for conny's etc Even if it is that weight, for 99 quid its still a bargain for chuckin round manky conny hedges.

    Nice one Tom, always amased the jobs you lads get up there, down here they would of just left that, very few would of payed good money to get that out. Big old girl aswell. Love that tractor tom.

  15. Same here wouldnt even drive it out of the yard for £1 an inch. im same £2.50 per inch min, if its a pain to get to or really dead hard Oak etc then £3 per Inch.

  18. I have a Makita one very close to that, 10" bar aswell and as you say for conny hedges small reductions there great. My Makita is a better colour though, Lovely blue and not that "southern softie" orange:001_tt2:
  19. Thats usually the case in life! Professional tree workers are all Skilled, some to a greater degree granted, monkeyd, Hancock, tony sorensen, hamagayad etc but yes were all skilled at what we do.
  20. Totally agree mate, there crap, would rather watch and spend all day texting there chav mates about how the world owes them something. The foreighn lads are used to a harder life thats why they graft. A customer asked me a few weeks back why a lot of us tree guys have older guys working for us, simple i said they can work and have a bit of common.
