  6. Thats great thought as it would be along these type of lines but its best to have correct info.
  7. I am based in Hampshire but work regularly in Norfolk/suffolk area as my dad has a fishery there. From what some of the staff say there ash trees seem to be affected and looking at the map it location seams to correct. I ve planned to go there with a team in Jan can I ask what sort of control measures should we employ as i dont want to increase spread etc.
  8. How about just keeping yours and getting redwoods or someone to get it all reconditioned and tarted it up. Least then you know the machine. Redwood s are just up the road from me and did a great deal when I traded in my TW 150 so either way you ll be on to a winner.
  9. May get slated for this but I have been offered a 08 plate commercial kia sorento. it has 135k on the clock but overall is in great condition for mileage. I ve taken it for a drive and it seams to be very good. It has a 3t towing capacity and would use it as my everyday motor and for quoting towing the stumpy and mewp to jobs. Has anyone used one and give me there thoughts as a working truck. I am a bit unsure.
  10. May need a little practise and a mess about with my cyclocross bike now.

  15. Hi Guys I will be doing my annual visit to my fishery in Norfolk to carry out some tree work this winter. My Dads asked for some stump grinding to be done. Don t want to take mine and chipper up with me. Also a bigger machine would be better anyway. Can anyone pass on any info for contacts.
  16. Thats a nice 110 tipper you have now andy. Is it a 3.5ton chassis or 3050ton
  17. Keep it and buy the Mog I know you of all people can afford it.
  18. I am wondering if theres any point in getting one with a diamiond disc to touch up teeth before use. You can pick em up cheap on ebay. I have a vermeer 252 using there yellow jackets. I thought it would be better for the machine and stop wasting the teeth. I dont have a workshop or bench to do it properly but if I can get another 30% usage out of the teeth surely it would be worth doing. Whats your thoughts
  19. Buy a cheap impact gun off ebay. Its so easy then only takes a couple of mins. No loosing skin on knuckles etc. I got a brand new 14v snap on one for £75 one of the best bits of kit yet. Just remember to tighten by hand and not the gun.
  20. fishery management and fishing tackle development(although everything is copied from another nowadays)
  21. It must be the day of selling landys I ve just this minute done the deal on my 130. umm what to get next.
  22. As the title really I am working up that way tomorrow for a mate but neither of us normally work that area. Just looking for some where to drop a couple of loads of conifer chip. To save carting it back. Can any one help if so PM me.
  23. I bought a 150 from a main dealer for 7k. They told me they serviced it from new it had 1100 hrs on the clock. I replaced everything on it engine, rollers and hydaulics the lot. Turned out they were talking crap. I rebuilt into a great little machine. I would be very wary of buying second hand and would look very carefully. I traded it in as the deal I got offered on a jensen was to good to turn down and as contracts were getting bigger it seamed to be a good thing to do. The person who has my timberwolf now has a cracker but dont regreat trading it in. My advice now would be buy the best you can when you can afford it. If your only doing it a bit look into hireing or just asking a local firm to pop by at the end of the day with theres for a bit of beer money. I did that at the start. Dont rush in only fools do that. I was a fool. It was all to shiney at the time.
  24. and there only 3 miles away from me.
  25. I have just bought the jensen 530 looked into the greenmech but overall thought the jensen was better. The turntable function is great but think the jensen is a much better machine. Also the deal I got was better from redwoods than that the greenmech dealer was offering. I ve done 6hrs so far and very happy with my choice.
