  1. you will need speed rated trailer to go behind mog, fastrac or 50kph plus tractor. tyres need to be rated for high speed use, brakes will need to be air and commercial spec and running gear ie axles will have to be a cetain type. the old bill and vosa are tightening up on it all, down here they are quite hot on it after a wheel came apart on a spreader towed by a fastrac doing 80kph and it killed a motorist.
  2. why dont u just look on the side of your guide bar and it will tell you all the information about pitch etc then look at stihl, oregon etc website for the right file
  3. mark u just been busy driving round rather than cutting!
  4. i ran them in my jensen and never had any issues with the quality of their blades or the quality of the regrinds they did
  5. pete, do you have anything to do with the forestry work over where they hold the motocycle enduros near bala? the scenery looks familiar
  6. all of the stuff for my mog i generally get blasted first then galvanised and sprayed. i do alot of work for a steel yard who have in house facilities and do the work at a reduced rate in exchange for work i do for them
  7. you will need to speak to the tax office directly as a contractor cant / doesnt generally do it on your behalf. for the small amount of time and the little hassle it takes you may as well ring them up and get it done to save future problems
  8. i regularly subcontract to construction companies who all insist on CIS registration whether it be for clearance work or fencing they insisted i have it. i rang my local tax office with my UTR number, National insurance details and it was all put in place for me. took a few days to all come into affect but i havent had any issues with payment since
  9. its not too bad once u get used to the motorists flashing their lights at you because the chipper is dragging along the deck!
  10. i know its looking a bit lopsided!!! didnt have an original droparm for it and as u know im a stickler for details so took it off as it was annoying me!
  11. this is mine, chipbox from atkinsons that i had blasted and painted, on the roof it has batons and fold flat tie down points for carrying ladders or long items
  12. i sold a couple of artic loads to a timber merchant who said he sold it on to make match sticks.
  13. thats a ch380 i think mate
  14. those old school kawasaki looked better than the equivalent sports bikes of the time, even the KR1-S was a cool looking bike for such a small capacity. try the ebay claims procedure and at least claim back your fees, its a bit drawn out and nearly always biased to the buyer but its worth a shot
  15. End of the day mate there is loads of timewasters where ever you are, whether its on here or everyday life. ebay is full of people who are well prepared to hit the buy it now button but not have the funds or change their mind. unfortunatly you will never stop it mate i know from experience what its like. nice bike by the way, those old school zxr are cool
  16. hi, do u want the chipper or not? i have tried messgaing u on here and your direct email, let me know as i need it gone.

    cheers

  17. meterage rates work ok providing you got good people and well maintained kit. i just come off a stock fencing job on my own, 1.2 miles i think it was and priced that per meter. left the yard with tractor and knocker at 6 am then got back when i couldnt see anymore. if ur prepared to work hard and i think it can be better than day rate.
  18. is it that it becomes poisonous when its processed?? our goats munch all the overhanging laurel from the neighbours without harm. i was always told it was yew or at leat the berries that were poisonous to livestock
  19. you disappointed me there steve, i was hoping u were gonna say u did a knock thru with the valmet crane
  20. mark if u ever get stuck for a bigger chipper, give me a shout i got 1 or 2 you could hire if need be
  21. back to shreks wee chipper, does it fit in the intake of the bandit so u can carry them both round?
  22. was a big row of 20 odd pops with no signs of any new / fresh growth before they were pollarded, once all the chip was dispersed over the ground hundred of trees started popping up from within the chip. i was called in with the digger to remove it and noticed when i scraped the ground back to bare soil there was no evident roots as they all seem to be within the chip.............. im no expert, never claim to be but was curious as to whether it was down to the chip
