  2. cool, it was the aussie comment that got me searching from the beginning, couldn't stop keep clicking on the next page....tis a shame that so many cool pics are lay idle.
  3. Is there any way to make a slideshow out of the contents of the "General Tree Pics" thread..??...started to go through it earlier and got to about page 40 of 260 odd..lol There are some awesome pics there, would make a great slideshow.

  15. yeah I agree...it's cool to see some big wood being rigged down like that. Which is what is in the other pics iirc...think I saw them on your web page..like a 600kg conker hanging beside you.
  16. is there some pics missing rupe..? did you not have some piccies of the bigger lumps being lowered? cool takedown btw, not done a rigging TD on my own of anything that size...I don't mean height or span but the volume of timber..(it was all rigged down right?).., there's a hell of alot of weight involved in that job and I think the common misconception is that transcends into the amount of effort needed, you pretty much show that to be false, cheers. ..
  17. went up the malvern hills in the end, was feeling brave got pretty busy after a while though, too many targets..namely small children in out of control sleds..lol at home now warming my feet, might go up the bredons later if you're reading john.

    nowhere near him mate. If you look where he is stood at 1:55 you can see more clearly where the branch in question landed...and where he moves to at 2:05 is where he would have been stood when the first stem hit the deck... cheers.
