  1. That second one was ace Mozza. Top stuff. Who needs climbers??
  2. Did you check the moisture content by pressing your top lip against the logs and then thinking of a random number? Haha.
  3. Or even better. 1 pallet deep, however many pallets long. Looks like you are 3 pallets deep so the line in the centre won't be drying anywhere near as efficiently as they could be.
  4. Looks good and it's right what you are saying about needin a nice windy site. However, that pile is too wide for the wind to successfully get all the way through. Wouldve been far better and two stacks. Same height and length but thinner. Them poor logs in the middle. Haha.
  5. When dry enough, wood is wood.
  6. I'll have some pics of your old 620 for you to peruse shortly mate top job.
  7. Haha. That is amazing. So funny. "aww nah round-up to the rescue". Haha.
  8. Saying that you are confident in your climbing abilities and have been involved in large dismantles is a world a way from saying " show me the tree and I'll get it on the ground in any way you want me to". Most times you will get called out as a subbie will be for massive, dead, ivy covered Lombardy poplars, on windy days with zero access for any machinery and targets all over the place so you will need to rig down a 120ft tree in 4th sections. Are you ok with that?
  9. No, not really, I love mars bars. haha How about we all just donate the cost of a mars bar to The Childrens Trust for fun instead.
  10. I think the rules of this game had some flaws that should be cleared up fully before 11, 11, 11. (just set my alarm) haha
  11. I'd actually much rather work for Rygaard.
  12. But if the competition was to arrive the closest to 10:10 and the 9 others had been there since 9:48 the guy who strolled up at 10:10 would be the winner. Im only messing anyway, was really impressed how long that 60 seconds lasted for, and how many people managed to post at 10:10.
  13. How do you work that out??? 10:10 is 10:10, not 10:09, not 10:11??? Can we at least get some stickers or something??? how about massive discounts??
  14. that makes us all winners. It doesnt say first to post. I want a prize.
  15. Top 10 would be more fitting. Haha
  16. We must have all won a prize. Surely?
  17. I emailed J.M Browning and Rygaard Logging but neither are taking on a the moment. Haha.
  18. Haha. No your not the only one. Hence my first post which was "what?" We just made educated guesses as to what it related to. Still not sure what the Ref has to do with anything? Haha.
  19. Haha amazing. Dean is literally twice the size of me so don't worry, the secret is safe.
  20. Will you tell them that you just want a price for dismantling and you will get rid of the arisings, then point at your mog and schliesing?
  21. Exactly. That was the point I was trying to make. Just because someone asks an educated question doesn't make them a rival log dealer trying to step on your turf haha.
  22. No Tom, not "should be". 20-25% is perfect and do-able by drying outside with some sort of cover on top to stop rain but vented on the side to allow windflow which is the main thing needed for drying. Heat from sun helps but as long as its not freezing, then wind drys woods. Oh and they need to be just of the ground aswell.
  23. And that told you what exactly? Maybe he has been ripped of by the guys in the lay-by before haha.
  24. Plus I bet asda knows where tescos mum lives so wouldn't get fooled that easy.
