  1. I fail to see how a running bowline would be used as a mid rope knot? Prussik idea is a great one. Quick and easy. Good for adding 3 to 1 systems.
  2. It's an interesting one. Im not sure although I would assume that as soon as you go VAT reg that you have to charge VAT on all services provided from that point onwards. Even if the work had been arranged prior. Would be interested to know the exact answer. Yorkshireman is usually quite up on these things. Maybe he can help out.
  3. Huddersfield logs could rent saws from Stephenson Tree Care. Possibly? Haha
  4. I assumed that had already been done. Hence East Yorkshire Firewood Supplies.
  5. Don't forget you can claim back all the VAT you have spent for the last 3 years which could be a sizeable figure.
  6. If it cost you in VAT to extract the timber and cost you in VAT to haul the timber and cost you in VAT to store the timber and cost you in VAT to process the timber and cost you in VAT to advertise the timber and cost you in VAT to deliver the timber. The. It's a no brainer. You could claim back quite a tidy sum every 3 months. If it's Arb arisings stored for free at a local farm and processed by a petrol log splitter by yourself and casual labour and then delivered on your way home then, you might find your self with a bill to pay every 3 months. If you turnover more than 70k, you HAVE to go VAT reg.
  7. I think it foreign for " stuntfell". Haha
  8. If by becket you mean the opposite end to the one with the holes then Yeah. Not may have been the PInto L that I saw this with. Not sure? It was in honey bros stand at APF. On a demo thing.
  9. No that's not the setup at all. Sorry mate. The pinto is longer in body so and has a load bearing end so allowing you to hook the krab onto the opposite end of the holes if you get my meaning.
  10. Nah, not got any pics. Was hoping someone might have some. If no-one comes up with the goods then I will just buy a couple of Pinto's and show you. Was waiting until Justin started stocking the full DMM range.
  11. Exactly. Creating a more streamlined and smoother looking set-up.
  12. Is anyone using a Pinto pulley for their V.T system instead of a hitchclimber? Saw an example of this and it looked like a really neat streamlined rig. Tempted to swap to this. Any pictures would be really good. Cheers.

    Hetas

Actually more like around £500 for the first year then £150 per year thereafter plus 30pence per tonne sold through the scheme.
  15. In reference to high sides on a tipper. Allowing you to carry more weight. Hence "greedy".
  16. Have you tried getting someone else to drive and walking alongside the vehicle? You would shed some pounds and make life easier on them poor springs. Hahahahaha. Sorry.
  17. On a transit?? You havin a laff???
  18. Council use them near us. The whole point of it is to trim back trees that would get hit by a bus on the route. Bloomin good idea really.
  19. I often use my gold rings for extras. Like when you are at a funny angle and you would have to go awkwardly around the ring to clip into the side d. Just use the gold rings. I also use them to drag a lowering role around now and again. Saves fiddling behind you for a different attachment.
  20. .....
  21. Woah, the guy has bucked trees nearly 2ft across. Is he a pro logger? Must be.

    iPhone4

The only thing that would part me with my iphone would be if the HTC actually did have an app that could build you an island and then turn into a jet and fly me there.

  24. I dont get what the mod is for??? If its for a lanyard to be attached to something other than the side d's then the sequoia has the gold rings???
