  1. normaly tip logs tip cash into pocket tip hat and say bye till next time, but will stack for some people, broken bones, oap , pregenent ladies, cup of tea and a home made victorian sponge , all of it!!!!!
  2. chris / richard keep a eye on the CHEFFINS auction site one in cambridge and one near bristol iv'e picked 2 up from cambridge both under 1500 one a runner and one for spares

I love them ,only proplem with the older engines A 50 /60 /65 bits are hard to find , the engine was built in house , for example holder pistons are £450 each , ive got some holders and if you service them they will treat you ok nothing wrong with the engine, as bits are not cheap people tend to take them to the edge then get rid The trouble i find with a lot of the smaller alpines is plenty of horses but not the weight .Holders do come up for sale if they do i buy them wanted or not ,of course at the right price .

  13. had a bloke order a load of logs this was in my start up days , he said cheque in post ok i say's so i deliverd logs . had a phone call that night sorry cant pay you as your logs are wet . so he said what he will do is pay half price and he will use them next year so i says no problem mate i will pick them up in the morning . wen't to pick up logs next day next door came out and said he try's it on all the time plonker. next door had log'.s
  14. i would just say sorry mate no more work , dont mince around he stole from you, your stuff what next ! All the chaps who work for me know the form caught stealing / use drugs your on your ear no questions .

  16. i find it clears out crap from the engine just like using red ex in diesels
  17. that is the mix what i use in all my saws, 2/stroke engines 100ml to 5ltr i normally get a 20 litre can and mix 400ml to 20ltr never had a proplem in 15 years i use either oregon or aspen oil and one'c a month a tank of aspen 2t

  22. I have a holder block in the barn i think it is a A60 will the A50 bit's and bob's fit it ask andy at lamberhurst he will know
  23. second that a good fire wood man will be able to cut the lenght you require , but get in now and stock up on small logs for the winter . Because when the winter start's most people have there logs already cut to a set size normally 10 inches i charge a extra £15 a load for logs under 8 inches but that will still be cheaper than kiln dried let the summer do it for you.
