    Try contacting your local Wildlife trust or Natural England normally a fencing grant is only given if the area is going to be grazed in a maner with the up keep of the sssi ,and not for a profit gain by the smallholder, hope that helps?

I normally do a coppice on job rate , if you cut 200 cube you get payed for it is he under assumtion that when it dryes there will be half 'ish the weight, so only pay you half the amount so he does not lose out , i normally price the job by the area to be done and not the cube cut , that's his job to caculate the cube in the area ,and to say if your price is ok or not , i would of thought. sound's a bit sus and trying it on

  15. As people have said there are hard times ahead just keep your head save as much as you can, I dont like to say it but people will go down ,so there will be more jobs for those that keep cool and ride the storm
  16. I know it all depends on the amount to do, but i mix 50/50 plus wallpaper paste and dye and paint it on 99% kill rate so i dont get much regrowth.I have never rated roundup any good for regrowth on rody , just wait till it gets a bit bigger and paste it again
