  1. Terribly sad news. Thoughts go out to the family and friends of all involved. Awful news
  2. You have to be recommended by a friend. If you know someone that is on it, they can suggest you and then you're away!!!
  3. Isn't it at the end of April? Around the Capel show time? Sounds like a good day to have a day off to me!!
  4. What on earth is that on the rope at 53 seconds?!?! Nice video and felling mate
  5. I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that laughed mate!!
  6. Cool video mate.
  7. Crikey!! I paid £8 for mine!! Got it from a company called Southern Rigging Supplies.
  8. I'll have a look though my old e-mails and see who I got mine from.
  9. Here you go mate. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/18388-who-has-got-big-shot-1.html If you make one, just make the legs of the Distel shorter and it won't sit back as much!!
  10. Great video. I made a quick release for the big shot mate, I'll have a look and see if I can find the details.
  11. Surely The lesson is to not cut near your feet!?!?
  12. IMO It depends on the job. If its light reductions with a Silky, I don't see it being a problem and its probably better in lighter boots. 99% of the time, if you are using a saw near your feet, there will be a better way of getting the branch cut. (For the record, I've climbed and used chainsaws in non chainsaw boots before, but I wouldn't recommend others try it. It up to the individual)
  13. Any one of the site sponsors down the right hand side
  14. Nicely done bud!!
  15. I hate you!! I now have to do this again tonight!! haha!!
  16. Aye mate. I'm grand thanks. Can't complain at all!! Hope you keeping well.
  17. Good luck with it Bud. Remember to take the camera with you!!!
  18. I'd agree with WeeDee. I'd have thought If they were heavier there would be too much movement on the casualty, especially if they were on Lockjack or VT etc. Nice idea though
  19. Just done 118057 and lost an hour and a half.... Dwarf toss.doc
  20. Crikey mate. Glad you're ok. The only bad mistake is one you don't learn from!! Bet you'll always remember that and never do it again!!

  23. I've packed up the booze from 1st of September till Christmas Eve as part of (an admittedly drunken) bet. Not really changed my diet that much but lost a stone. Might be worth looking at Dave. I guess it depends on how much you drink mate.
