  1. got a few days in openshaw starting tomorrow if your interested
  2. I would look into Invoice Discounting before factoring, factoring will mean the company will continuously hound your client for the money which will annoy the hell out of them. It may give the client the impression you are a badly run company as you dont have any capital in the bank, and that you should not be taking on jobs if you have not got the cash flow I know this is not the case and your company is run well and you are just an expanding company, but the client may not see if this way. Invoice discounting will cost about £4k a year for a £500k turnover company and they will give you 80% of your invoice amount the day you raise it, and your have 90 days to give them back the 80% plus about 3% commission. With Invoice discounting the company never have any contact with the client.

  5. any one know of anyone in the area,
  6. just need one for a day in Bradford, anyone know of one for hire
  7. Dave, i agree with what your saying and the examples you give, and i also agree that there is a chance that criminals at the game might have stole of anyone and stayed undetected, the big issue with the newspaper that people i know have is that it claimed a dead girl had been 'abused', and that fans were 'openly urinating on the bodies of the dead'. those things could not have been missed by cameras etc.
  8. "but some did" again dave where is your source of info coming from, the sun news paper? the tabloid renown for its facts.
  9. liverpool is a great place to take the family, as is manchester leeds etc, in regards to masterh post, i actually agree with his post but surely you accept that every city in the country have crime stats that match liverpool, and the same could happen in any of them. Most major towns and cities in the country have parts as bad as Liverpool or salford, i know wigan, warrington, st helens etc can have equally as bad issues. Yeah liverpool has a bad rep for a good reason but no worse than hundreds of places in the uk, just the record i dont really like liverpool.
  10. the truth Dave? where are your facts from? Im not going to rant that i have a dozen friends that were at the game that day who are nice lads, who still state they saw nothing of the sort that was reported in the sun, do you not think that cameras would have seen any of the incidents if they would have happened. The sun succeded in selling lots of news papers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. First of all congratulations you are the first tree surgeon to work in my village other than my lads in the last 3 years, secondly my yard is only 1/2 a mile from where you are working so feel free to tip there. Where are you working?
  12. If your interested and its not busy, you can hire mine for £350 a week, with either grab and rotator or massive dipper boom grab.
  13. if you can move a 13 tonner on the site dont consider anything smaller, if you hire a standard plant hire company excavator, pipes will be ripped to pieces, steel pipes cracked, window smashed to pieces in days, and panels buggered. It will cost you a fortune in repairs (if all windows smash £600+ to start with. As you know, Clearance / Forestry work is harder on machines than any other industry cause of the unpredictability of timber and limbs. I would approach a demolition company, they will have replaced steel pipes with flexy so they can squash and not crack, windows will be guarded or will have poly carb and not glass. Some plant hire companies do hire demo 360's but usually only 20 tonne plus, and you will have to pay additional costs from another company for selector grab. If you manage to hire a demo companies excavator it may well have selector grab on it already and therefore be cheaper overall, also you wont have to pay additional costs for getting hydraulic fittings matched up. All steel pipes on our 15 tonner have been changed to flex, windows polycarb and pipes guarded along the boom and it still gets smashed and needs repairs weekly.
  14. They also own the biggest Heizo you can buy,
  15. A couple of lads who work for me are saying that the oregon chains on a stihl bar are not oiling the bar as good as stihl chains on a stihl bar. Discuss...............
  16. start of clearance on contaminated ground

  18. Experienced cutter required for 4 week project, minimum CS30 / 31 and CSCS. PM or ring 0789 2828286 Thanks, David
  19. In theory yes to about 15 ft but will depend on continuous gas readings by national grid operatives, the risk is the saw sucking in gas. The tree dismantle is not too bad despite the power lines, its the entire stump removal that will make the job awkward with the hydraulic saw.
  20. I should have made it clearer Andy, the readings show the leak is directly under the stump! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That would be great, I have a power pack, how long is the bar? If you want to get a bit more out of it, you can do the climbing as well if you like? Great thinking with regards to the copper, forgot about sparks from the bar / chain. cheers, Dave
  22. In a nut shell 30inch Ash needs removing with Stump as as its directly over a leaking gas pipe. 30inch dbh bout 75foot tall, only access is down 3 tier zigzag path about 100 feet decent from rd. No chainsaw / stump grinder to be used within 15 foot of leak, (going to have to get a hydraulic chainsaw with powerpack and long pipes for tree and stump removal (carbide coated chain for roots). Just to make things more interesting there are power cables running through the tree.
  23. can find you digs no problem, please pm me a brief description of your experience,
  24. I sell mine at £120 kiln dried
