  10. I am severely desperate for either a 12-16.5LT tyre, (presume that means it is 12 inches at its widest point and 16.5 inch diameter), and or rim / wheel 9.5 inch wide by 16.5 inch diameter and 8 stud. Any tyre that will fit on this rim will do for now, if anyone has a tyre or the tyre and rim to sell can you let me know asap!! thanks
  11. seems strange to me too, maybe there is something missing i.e. anvil!!, but it chips great, blades are brand new so not that, it doesnt look like it should have an anvil though. If anyone knows if it should please let me know!!
  12. small sticks / branches are going under the drum and going up the discharge shoot and blocking or contaminating woodchip, there is no anvil on the chipper, is this common and is there a solution,
  13. you can remove the 2 bolts and slide out the tow hitch thats in at the moment and put a longer one in, but have it straight for a few feet and then angled up at say 20 degrees so when there is chip in the back it wont drag along the ground. you could also put tow bar on chipper but angle a bit wrong and like all old unimog chipper drops. If your trailer is balanced it wont put any extra weight on the back. I also I found a 3 point linkage frame for that chipper that means you can just lower it down and it will come straight off with just one pin, and it dead simple to back up and lift it back on again, its a nightmare putting that chipper on and off, thats what the angle iron welded on to the chipper is for, you can have it if you just cover the postage.

  18. How on earth have you managed to come up with your conclusions from the post, its reads very simple to me. Mathew is looking for a competent person in the west midlands to survey some sites for about 8 weeks, end of. Its no different than the hundreds of threads looking for climbers or groundsman. If your not interested in the role go and do your extensive detective work & psychological analysis on someones elses thread.
