  2. I just remembered it was not you Ian it was an old boy from Essex i was talking too. He told me this food safe oil was £19.99 in a woodturners shop and the same stuff was £1.99 in boots:biggrin:
  3. I believed you yesterday John. But that video is excellent. The wife and i went to cornwall about 9 years ago and we sat in a cafe with a robin on the table eating bits of scone with cornish cream:001_smile:

Ian if you see this what is the stuff called i need to seal these with for using with food i remember you said i can get it from Boots.

  22. In the village is an old Oak tree which an aircraft crashed into. And the tip of the wing is still in the tree somewhere. An old boy in the village has the newspaper cutting about it an showed it to me. Some interesting stuff do go on in the countryside:lol:
  23. I like the old stump vice when i get a windblown oak in the park it is just an easy way to sharpen your saw sitting on a log. The old trees in the park usually have metal guards still inside them:cursing: This week i have been cutting old Elms down in a hedge row around an old meadow and you guessed it barbed wire in the trunks:lol:
  24. Nice job lads my kinda job that something to get your teeth into. That is the first stump vice i have seen in a picture on Arbtalk. Good idea with having the splitter with you.
