  1. Has anyone heard of Atrioard or something like type of oak about 80 years old at Chelmsford racecourse?? I can’t think of anything like that.
  2. These two pictures the fungi was growing at the bottom of the buttress of an AOD tree I found them to late to id myself any ideas anyone. Would be a big help to forest Research
  3. Did anyone see the program on antibiotics The film on bacteria and antibiotics at war is what trees do every day fighting off fungi infection or bacterial infection What do people think.
  4. Khriss your set up sounds good to me. I have got to survey trees on 6000 acre estate roads houses etc but need to cut out paperwork

  13. Hi there i was watching tv the other night and they said in Somerset there is an apple called slack my girdle. David

  14. Today i thought i would clean out my office and i had a good fire:001_smile: I found the old firewood book. It started in 1968 and the cost of a load of logs was £12 and it finished in 1996 and the cost of a load was £65. I still use the same trailors and they hold two cubic meters. The estate staff used to get free firewood but no more they now have to buy it. There you go a little bit of history:001_smile:
