  1. Used that cabstar mewp a few times and not a fan of that 1 with 2 people in, OK with just me but feels very waffy with 2. Come on and show us the surprise... Think I already know 😉
  2. Get the trailer out and go old-school mash happy in the back on jobs that hopefully don't produce much waste or hire something to get on with. This is why I need to get my arse in gear with project quick chip and get the old girl back into some kind of working order or converted to pto for tractor.
  3. Cheers Eddie Makes sense now, dropping that 900kg of mettle equals a awful lot more tree that can be handled at full reach or on a slope and so nice being able to do it from the cab quickly and without getting covered in oil. Looking forward to the video and finding out how it go's on go's on the job.
  4. Very nice indeed. How come the head has two quick hitch positions on it?
  5. Looks a neat little winch on her 👍
  6. Ah, didn't know Richard had got a harvester as well as all the site clearance gear.
  7. Who's machine is that Paul, nice bit of kit. Is it powerline clearance again?
  8. Looking good! So nice having machines that help make work on other machines easy. Stickers are still on my list of to do's now.
  9. Don't do it, better grinders for not much more money out there, just had a demo of a bandit 2025 and was far more impressed with that than I ever was running a 252 and so much more stable.
  10. Where's your pictures??
  11. Found a pub in York that serves good beer in proper glasses last night, no idea what it was called or where it is by man the beer was good, but not as cheep as the sam smiths pub - 4 pints and change from a tenner 👍😍
  12. Just new, should have painted them before they went on but by that point was in a bit of a rush to get everything back together as needed her on a job. Few more pictures of the work from start to finish.
  13. Suns out, guns out eh ham, looks a sweet job nd ideal for little muck truck to shift stuff.
  14. Got the inside to sort out next to make use of the space without it all being in a big heap, going to take a shelf out of 1 side locker to fit kit bags in and make the back two layers for saws and rigging gear. Be interested to see if anyone else has come up with interesting storage solutions in there's? Ow Yeh and my daughter wants me to get a roof tent so we can go camping in it more now it's a bit "cooler"
  15. Ow yes, starting to get it back in some sort of order again now after it's been a spray booth, steel fabricators shop and sight of menny tantrums over the last week or so😉 Almost done now, still a few bits to finish off once a few funds allow.
  16. That's how I lifted it on in the end, handy having a remote control winch on the picker 😉 Yes etch primer then polyurethane on top as it's easy to spray and gives a good finish for the less skilled painter Looking forward to your pictures.
  17. That's exactly why I eventually decided not to part with mine but spend some time and money on sorting her out and making nice, by the time I'm finished hopefully she will be a workhorse, family shifter and weekend camping base vehicle, wife also has a hyundi for posh running about and long trips.
  18. Isn't Marlow quite a soft core rope compared to tachyon. I'm on my 3rd now and not found any to be a problem in wet or dry conditions. Give it a good overnight soak and clean out between the bars and pins to get the movement back as tree gunk can quickly set solid in there.
  19. That's leaving 15% right 😕
  20. Got asked to finish this off after the previous "contractor" never came back after blunting his saw. And some beautiful crown reductions.
  21. It's had a second go at growing and as you say very yellow
  22. Good idea, add ear plugs so you can't hear the coms, good concept and look very neet. Got this made up for when I'm in tractor or log splitting and don't want/need a helmet on but still need to be in contact with other staff or just to answer phone easier
  23. Nice to see you've joined arbtalk at last ben. Might come and watch but knees are beyond racing up them these days. John Lawrence
  24. Yes and the devil might have to get a fleece jacket because his home has frozen over! Nothing against the place you understand just not near the outlaws-no thank you!
  25. That looks a bit crispy Mr Git, at least with the tub off you get a chance to weld it up properly. I have seen them done with the body tub on ,half of the welding gets missed and then gagged up with underseal to cover it all up The more i poked the more jobs I gave myself, spring pan was not as strong as it should be! but I'm getting it done at least, sods law I ran out of Gass 5 min after the local shop closed at 5.30 yesterday or I could have had all my welding finished. At least I got a few other bits done till half 10 much to the annoyance of the wife.
