  1. Avant do a screener bucket, you could hire one for about 100
  2. What kind of money/ hours was that machine. Can you change the back hoe pattern from iso to sae and vice versa?
  3. Mate has a 460. Good thing is it uses electric motors to drive, so engine does not need to be on. Got a dreadful kohler engine on it, if you can live with that, its great.
  4. These were members of the travelling community, do the law did not apply to them!
  5. Was up the local sand and gravel merchants last week. Transit was in with the high steel sides ( already reducing the payload doing that!)? I watched as the yardsman loaded a full scoop of type one. Then another, then a third! Each scoop is a cubic metre. Each weighed 2 tonne! I commented it must be the new style 7.5tonne transit!
  6. What happens when it hits a flint or rock? I presume it blunts and needs to be sharpened?
  7. Cassappa, but they frequently develop leaks, so i had some made that are in two halves, so the tandem section is seperate, where as on the cassappa they are not. Its the one i have had made that has failed internally, after 300hours. They are runnin on other machines with more hours on without issue
  8. Pump changed today. Success! Must be an internal fault. So relieved! Now to get the pump repaired. Thanks for all the advice. Going to get one of those flow meters sometime if i can find one
  9. I think i understand you, in fact i put a pressure gauge on when the stalling occcurs, amd the needle on the gauge went up much higher than the 105bar, and slowly came down, but the ram never changed direction like it should do. I have changed the pressure relief valve already, to no avail. I also have three new pumps in stock. They tend to leak after a while and end up with a hairline crack in them. Common fault, but never had one fail internally. Watch this space
  10. Update Tested pressures. Ok. Compared to another machine. I brought an ifared thermometer, and tested various components. Pump was showing 60d degrees c, most other components between 25 and 40. Tested ankther machine, could only bet 40 degrees c from the pump. Therefore can i conclude something wrong inside the pump causing the heat build up???
  11. Its what the manufacturer told me was correct
  12. Here you can see the ceetop, center two pipes go to the ram, one comes in from pump, the other goes to the track valves. Not visible is the test port which is in the silver port block. Today i finally put a tester on. I am getting 105 bar, which is what i am supposed to be getting. I tried replacing the ram with a spare, it made no difference, so surely now it must be the pump??
  13. Who supplies rolls thats size, what meterage are they and does the attachment come as part of the cost?
  14. I would suggest the greenmech also. My mate worked for a big national tree company, they had some and they were the best ones hes used. They took a lot of abuse from the lads using them too, branches dropped on them, sweepings from the kerb shoved through, that sort of thing!
  15. I thought at the moment, eddie mentioned towing trailers with these was not allowed on the roads
  16. I just clicked the link and it worked, but i guess you have to be a member for that to happen
  17. Search arb2trade on facebook. You may have to join the group. There are currently two on there, one at 4500, ome at 2000. Both look ok.

  19. Ther was one on facebook...... let me check
  20. Here you can see the ceetop, center two pipes go to the ram, one comes in from pump, the other goes to the track valves. Not visible is the test port which is in the silver port block
  21. once i get onto the tablet, i wil put a piccie up, but basically there is a ceetop valve that operates the ram. the valve porting block underneath has a testing port on it, which i know the manufacturer uses to set the pressures. the pump also operates the tracks and the conveyor
  22. My mate has a pressure gauge i can plug in in the first instance!
  23. Thats what i need, its not easy to plumb that in, but there is a test port in the valve block under the ceetpop which might do the trick. Just need to see who might have such a device!
