  1. at the moment you are liable for any debts the company incurrs but the meaning of being a limited is that you have a limited liability in that you are only responsible for the amount you put into the company. Or thats what i understand from my management lectures this year at uni.

  5. I'm just looking for a bit of part-time work at the moment whilst i finish my degree and to get my hand back in. I'm looking mainly for groundie work as i am no climber and i can provide my own kit such as saws and lowering kit.

  9. I have epilepsy which is regarded as a disability but imo a disability is only that if it stops you carrying out a 'normal' life. My epilepsy does not stop me doing things as such, i just have to watch that i don't get too dehydrated or not have enough sleep.
  10. Andy, just spoken to mum about this and she has suggested speaking to the stoma nurse about diet and regulating "functions" to somewhere approaching "normal". Get well soon mate. Mum says there is a plus side to it all in that you don't have to worry about bothering the customer to use their loo.

  13. depends on the college; they haven't set their fees for next year yet. I think the fees at the moment are around £356 per module
  14. Swinny, i'm on my final year of the foundation degree at askham bryan. The part time lads pay per module and it doesn't add up to 14k at all.

  17. why not try doing it via distance learning? Myerscough do their degree online and there are various companies that do the theory via distance learning.

  19. As above, do the pti course. the basic tree inspection is aimed at people like mower operators and park rangers.

  21. As above; need to find out as i am doing my foundation degree personal research project on the cost effectiveness of the biobaler against a modified forage harvester in short rotation coppice. Also need to speak to owner/operators of both the above.

  25. Samsung are supposed to be bringing out a 'tough' version of the the galaxy called the xcover. It's supposed to have all the benefits of the solid phones but with a touchscreen.
