  1. Showing on mine ( android tablet) maybe yr old stone tablet needs an upgrade? K
  2. I like climbing them, and a bit of silky work to thin out laterals so they dont clump up with needles or snow makes all the difference, pity it often gets left till its too late. K
  3. More context needed really - but over extending branches are a noticable problem, thankfully a thin or tip prune can make a lot of difference. K

  10. Surface grinder - there is about a ton and a half weight difference. No one should use a bench grinder to sharpen chipper knives ( at least not my knives ! ) K

  16. Usually its a surface grinder with a jig to hold the blades at correct angles, used one at one company - bloody old thing with hand feed, a tedious job at best. Hard white grit stones. K

    @Finnian Hazlewood good CV , I would add, you have good organisational skills, to that and possibly add a pic of yrself and a job you were doing - plus get online and look at pruning techniques ( even just handsaws ) and other revelant disease or damage in trees to boost yr background knowledge . It all helps to make it stand out ( and doesnt cost ! ) . K

  24. Buy an imperial socket set and then buy that chipper dempsey, they are solid. K ( 3/4 = 19mm 15/16=24mm but you knew that)
