  1. Better would have been to put raised decking over the root area after locating main run of roots then put structure on pads , not expose roots to dry out whilst photographing them . But its done now K
  2. Good, you get better stove and it dont end up in scrap yard ( who will then sell it) he hasnt had to recycle it. It a win. K

  22. @J@mesC plus One on the felling as long as you plant another tree , if the location is apprpriate , leave trunk at bird table height ( saves stump grind and chainsaw chewing into any nails that are in the trunk ) K

  25. Well , its simple engineering and basic parts wont cost much - gets you into the firewood market . Box of Rotatech chains and bench grinder and garden marquee over yr head . Spot on . K
