  3. @Billhook I meant, one i used was 2 way, this machine looks much better, possibly 3 month delivery, but then, right in firewood season - which, round my way would be paid for with 20 loads @cube metre. K
  4. Most of tree rooting is up to 600mm depth, of which you seem to have good soil- then chalk occurs - if yr keeping the tree small, should not be a worry. Mulch well to balance soil moisture through summer. K
  5. Thought it got slatted, ours was not great, some other guy got his replaced under warranty, it did go on a bit 🤔 K
  6. Just ridiculous what they can make now, at such prices, used a 'german' firewood processor years ago, was not impressed with build quality- possibly rebadged Orient product- this one does look pretty capable! K

  15. I was tour of castles and arboretumn in Northumberland ( where oddly there is plenty of petrol ! ) Alnwick castle and gardens was amazing - Earl Grey arboretumn is massive . Just didnt have enuff time to do everything . K
  16. Splendid . Saw one flying around inside Durham catherdral this week , bugger vanished by time I got camera working - staff say they live in the wooden ceiling of the cloisters . K

  21. PTS for Network Rail, BTA for Underground , you do Sentinel first ( simple Q & A plus Drug n Alcohol test ) Some roads run together so you would need both in some places . With Sentinel , a failed drug n alcohol test is life ban , now . Do you know where you would be working ( and who for ) ? K
