@lux dont mention that to Mr J Barrell! He is very hot on old occluded broadleaf trunk wounds! ( AA AGM last year at Brooklands motor museum lecture) depending on yr position in this job, client, location in UK, contractor or other, i think a prompt plan required, rather that letting it sit fr a few years. K

Yup, very worrying bark fissures plus decay columns in trunk from old pruning wounds = fell within 12 months / Habitat column if area will require or support retention. K

A factor will be, Sweden, like Japan has a generally healthier population ( I am only disgusted when I go into Town) and more manners and stronger economy. These all combine to give a better result- not saying its the solution. The solution will be to get rid of that (slighlty less) fat, bleached buffoon first. K

@adw yr right but wrong. Tuning a saw IS an art but god knows how many dealers couldn't even get that right. And on the emissions front, it's a dirty two stroke. Only one yr polluting is yrself. K -

@markrufrider I have had a few e-carb models and would try to convert if possible to manual carb, ran and successfully tuned saws fr many years. No point to it - just dealer making money. K -
