  6. I would always recommend SRT over a doubled rope, the benefits are there. But to be clear - it aint foolproof and there have been a few bad falls. Possibly its the lack of training or understanding. Seen guy shoot rope right over crown to a base tie then ascend which cant be a safe practise ( but it worked!!!) But then doubled rope led us down the WAH regs debacle so dunno how one answer will fit all situations ( probably it wont ? ) SRT does give yr body ( and yr ropes) an easier time tho. K

  9. Wouldnt mind knowing why two good ( or they would not have been TPO 'd) Holm Oaks need felling in the first place? Is it regarding development / building works? Nuisance? ( AINT LEAF FALL ?) If they are yours a management plan may help yr application unless ye adamant they go? K

  12. Its had a load of money thrown at it. Loads of nice plaza stuff, good parklands ( Morden Hall is gorgeous) nearby but Beruit still safer bet K

  17. Seriously shagged rollers on Bandit 120 plus tight arsed boss times big load of Highways hawthorn equals 9" angry grinder. The tears of joy in the eyes of the lad the next day made my life complete. K

  21. Rebuilt more Stihls than i can remmember, always silly parts failing but in fairness after quite a lot of abuse. Gave them 2 stars on TripAdviser ? K.
  22. Most of their models ( usually between 5 minutes out of the shoppe to under 6 months) , in my experience. K
  23. @Paddy1000111 from memory, thats exactly wot Paul did, wish i had taken a pic. Did a cracking job of winding up big lateral branches over sheds n barns n sub-stations. K
  24. No, yr a bit taller, so people cannot breathe in yr face as easy. K
  25. I will add- taking an angle grinder to said rollers after 6 months work will give rollers back their bite - OR as i have found with most company machines, too shagged, a new roller set. The improvement in productivity astounds. K
