  3. Rebuilt more Stihls than i can remmember, always silly parts failing but in fairness after quite a lot of abuse. Gave them 2 stars on TripAdviser ? K.
  4. Most of their models ( usually between 5 minutes out of the shoppe to under 6 months) , in my experience. K

  7. I will add- taking an angle grinder to said rollers after 6 months work will give rollers back their bite - OR as i have found with most company machines, too shagged, a new roller set. The improvement in productivity astounds. K
  8. Best practise is to put little nicks in tension side of crotch, not because it will snap those sugar crystal feed rollers - the pace of work just goes faster ! Brash just flows through and yr less fatigued. K
  9. *Mate bought boat capstan, had frame made to carry it and ratchet strap it on to a tree, think it came in at under 800squids, just do it. K

  13. I prefer a base anchor and cambium saver+karabiner, as I can advance up to next anchor point if needed. Bit of faff, but am naturally cautious. SRT is not easy easy as some portray it. Poor lad had a close one there K
