I know but, my insurance assured me that my PLI was valid even though I didnt have ELI as at the time I didnt have any employees, I could still operate in the eyes of the law. I have never had to claim so I cant confirm the above No offence but I think there is too much hearsay in regards to insurance. I would like to hear from anyone that has had an accident and their insurance hasn't paid out. Full facts please. So, in standing with the chocolate teapot circumnavigating the earth, show me an insurance claim that has refused to pay out the PLI on the grounds of not having ELI. Well it is Sunday night and we only have work to look forward to in the morning

They are two different things though. I have always had pli even when subbing/freelancing/being an employed freelance subby, and eli as and when. My insurance sure as eggs took my money but did assure me I was covering third parties no matter what. Both very important though. I would hate to cause a life changing injury to someone and them not be properly compensated.

Horrible accident that one! Hope he wasn't too badly injured but I don't like his odds. Other video is a cracker of a job though. I wouldn't want to do either of them.

In reality if he does cut back to the boundary and in the future one does blow over causing damage the relevant insurance will pay or and that will be it. It would be up to the insurance to try and claw back money if they thought it was worth their time which it probably won't be. They/you would have to prove that him cutting the branches off caused the the tree to fall down when it's likely the height at 25m+ plus would be the real cause. I've been too many wind blown leylandii and height is nearly always the issue, along with a bit of wind of course. I would get the height reduced and let him do what he needs to do. Life's to short to be worrying if a tree is going to wipe out your property, especially 80 foot leylandiis.

At least you have cleared things up for everyone. Yes racists are evil, and so are those religious extremists who need hanging. So the thinking is, be a racist or risk being killed? How disturbing. Im sure that you banging on with your views, and you do go on and on and on about it more than anyone else, protects us more from these religious nutters then? Meanwhile 10 people have been murdered in the UK this week, non of it terror related. That might be more of an important issue atm. Btw, before you start that doesn't mean I condone, sympathise or think any less of these religious terrorists scum.

Of course that isn't racist, but it's not like you would just say that, you would back it up with saying how superior whites were because of it etc etc. I can obviously change my mind but that's not what I've done, I'm saying they won't eventually get anywhere with it, we won't see a extreme far right party in power imo. So yes I think they are going nowhere. I define a racist as someone who thinks that one race is superior to another and/or has hate for another race, you come across as one of those people through your posts. As you know I'm not the only that thinks that, not that it seems to bother you.

Well if I'm a repetitive, mindless cretin due to my views about matelot then I certainly have no concern or worries about your views on me then and I'm certainly not going to waste any of my time defending those views. We obviously have different views on what a racist is (although I see the majority of people agree with my view, but then I would think that I suppose:) )so yes I may be wrong and maybe matelot isn't a racist and he is just concerned about mass immigration rather than trying to blame everything on stupid, corrupt foreigners. I suppose we will just have wait and see if any racist or xenophobic party's will take control as yes I see the far right is rising across the globe.

Nope, vespian says he didn't exist so I think we can take that as gospel people. Although an atheist I do believe that there is no reason to deny that a bloke called Jesus probably did knock about back in the olden times. Only thing I saw on the news today is that Kim Jung-in is moving some ballistic missiles about. I know not many people seem to bothered about what is happening over there but im betting that there is a chance that something big could go off all because someone is going to make some mistake and cock things up. Will have to study that ass on Kim K and do some comparisons to her professional pics.

To be fair he did misread my quote, I didnt say or imply that all religious non muslims are haters etc, please read it as there is no hole to dig. Not really, I dont at every opportunity blame religion for every wrong that goes on in the world. Is it not the duty of any religion to denounce other religions? I would like to know how I am ignorant and hateful as any racist so please enlighten me. I have no time for religion but I dont hate all or any that pray to a God, there lies the difference, be that Allah or Ned Flanders. Surely I have the right to denounce any or all religions?

Yes exactly None of that makes sense, culture and countries are not even in the same food group. Anyway, we will see, I doubt the far right will rise again, we saw what happened with Hitler. A lot of good men and women died fighting that philosophy lets make sure it doesnt happen again. Im sure the good men and women that fight for our country will see to it.
