  1. One of my pals nearly took his mate out whilst using a little david stump grinder with piece of shrapnel that came flying out the side of the engine. I recall a loud bang at the time lol:fisheye:

  4. Alot of people jumping on the firewood band wagon this year and selling for peanuts. A few customers have bought what they thought was a bargain, most of which is wet thro from this season.
  5. I always have bother explaining to customers how much is in a load. I think the cube is the only way. A cord what sort of volume is that ? sorry if that sounds like a thick question.

  8. Used 341 and 357xp , 341 seems better amongst the hardwoods 357 better in the softwoods snedding etc. Like the idea of tea t shirts steve:icon14:

  10. Yip, it`s a sad world we live in these days, noticed alot of healthy trees around the country have come down this year , sad where `s gona end complete deforestation:thumbsdown:
  11. Same here, i make the effort to plant more than i fell each year, you got to do your bit in this industry.

  13. Used chainsaw jacket couple times, somtimes it`s just not practicle if ur up in the softwoods snedding all day u`d need a water bowser to keep going. There`s right place for them ( in the shed) and a wrong place for them, depends on the job.

  19. One of my regular customer`s lives where colonel leyand lived when he was experimenting with conifer`s up in the cheviot hills in northumberland.
  20. If you look at the army stable of off road trucks 4x4 6x6 8x6 and the new tank transporter`s all have single`s set ups with the exception of the odd hiab wagon.
  21. Had one last month trying to blagg me out of £250 for a tiny advert on the back of what they said was school saftey booklet last time they rang i told them i`d past their details onto trading standards not herd from them since.

  25. Doing foundation degree in arb and forestry coming up to the end of first year. Trees by day trees by night it`s sending me mad, but enjoying it.
