  4. Don`t know the full score,but there`s a chap up in the borders bringing in hardwood kiln dried from Germany charging a bloody fortune for them. Friend told me he had a article in one of the local rags telling people that very few local dealers could supply such quailty, failed to mention about carbon foot print

  10. Hi, we have a 3 point link kiwk chip turntable chipper with pin hitch on the back works well, also means you don't have to ajust your trailer, and you can feed from both sides. Farmi do a pto chipper with angle feed aswell. Hope this helps

    Yes powering the chipper off the mog on red is fine however you would have to remove the back bodie and have it as a cab chassis as no load or goods can be carried. Like you say this is a very grey area.

    I`ve just been through this with revenue people with my mog. Got away with fine but will be running on white with the mog from now on. The best thing you can do is go along and have a chat with them. Explain what gear you`ve got what ur doing with it let them tell you. Even they are not that sure what the regs are.

  14. Pikies pinched the shovel in the summer when the tree was in leaf hid it there, couldn`t find it hey presto
  15. If you have the work, need the 4x4 and can afford running costs then go for it. When buying look for orignal machine that hasn`t been tarted up. Went down the cheaper route myself got ripped, however now have just about replaced the whole machine. Be careful lol

  17. Mm, this thread is heavy, my mind is buzzing. Like whats being said, drove past a whole hedge line of pollards up in the borders (scottish) last week. Going back next week will try and get some photo`s. I would say the one`s i saw must have been about 350 years ish. Some of the cuts revealed alot of hollow centre`s make good bat cave`s lol. Need a cup of tea now.

  22. mogs of the road, getting brakes done, and rear pto spline`s re engineered, its nearly new machine now, recon engine new clutch etc etc put a big boughton winch on the front end keep it down lol. not 2 bad work wise starting 2 tail off.

  25. I had this problem with mine, the battery was the problem if it is down on charge the rollers will not work, somthing to do with the nostress. Anyway checking and charging the battery worked for me. cheers
