  1. removed a MP from a chapel the other day, as soon as word got around i had a few woodturners ringing me, tell who ever is removing it to keep the lengths as long as possible, especialy the top where most of the branches are thats the main part they were after, i sold it for £25 a running foot.
  2. yes defo VOSA, he followed me to where i was hauling to and told me to reverse in off the road then went through everything on the tractor and trailer, he gave me a GV10 i think it was because he reckoned there was too much gap in the hook of the pick up hitch, he dipped the tank ( it was running on red ) and told me i should be on white, read me my rights and told me to unhitch the trailer and leave it there, my employer at the time made an appointment for them to come out to the office to explain the laws and regulations, not sure what happened but i didnt hear any more about it, this incedent was a few years ago so not sure what the score is now.

  4. i`ve got loads of regrowth on willow stumps to cut back and have been told that they use it to make charcoal, i know nothing about charcoal making so i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be of any use to anyone who makes it.

  8. spoke to a guy the other day who had just had an arctic load delivered, he was not far from llandeilo, the hauliers name was gronow jones, it was quite funny as the arctic full had been unloaded into his front garden!

I`m doing some clearance work on a proposed building site to be completed by the end of the month, birds nesting etc, i`ve been told that there is reptile fence to be put around the site, im not 100% sure wether im doing this yet, i do fencing but have never done any of this type before, anybody had any experience of it.

  17. i give discount to some of my regular customers, but if the guy is selling it on i would stick to 45 a bag no discount, after all you doing all the graft.
  18. Do you guys have set times for breaks, i like to try and stop at 10 oclock and then 1 oclock give or take depending how busy we are, i`ve worked with a few guys who did`nt have any routine for breaks and the day just does`nt seem to go as smooth, whats your thoughts.

  20. ive got elten aquafell`s, they`re comfortable and quite good in the wet £70 on ebay, i dont climb so cant comment on them for that.
  21. A lady rang me last week to order logs, she said that she had bought a builders bag of logs from a local agricultural stores and they were soaking wet, she complained and threatened to take them to trading standards, they came to get them and gave her a refund, its worth a go.

  24. nice logo, if you needed work clothing embroidered that may cost a bit to set up though, i may be wrong.
