  1. A mate of mine has the Eliot pro 4, normally use it on small stuff like for hedge work and that. They are a pretty good machine, will just keep going. Depends on what you ant it for though, if you want it for small stuff its great but i'd save a bit more money for how much they cost, and get something bigger.
  2. I didnt actualy post on this forum for work, just being on this forum got me work, working alongside with Ed, which was great and well needed at this time. And just being on here i've made friends and many contacts. Arbtalk gets top marks from me.
  3. Those trailers look good Buzz, would be interested in the price.
  4. Crap, that second clip was close. Thanks for posting Reg.
  5. They had a massive entention lead. LOL. They just put a mock line up. Didnt have pics of that though.
  6. Cs40 is Pruning operations, but we had our 2.3 with it too, which is a electrical unit.
  7. Was a nice beech to climb, i was climbing with Jim originally but by the end of the week jump in with Steve. I normally only do dismantles to be honest and found getting round doing a little damage as possible a challange im sure the others will agree. Was a good laugh though. Back there on wednesday so i'll get a pic of all three trees finished.
  8. Here are some pics of the crew i work with doing our Cs40. There arent very many really didnt have the time. Thought i'd share them anyway.
  9. Sorry, dont quite understand, maybe you havent understood. What im saying is i wouldnt anchor to the branch where i would be conducting a rescue.! And yes Peter, at a closer look it does look like his line is high up. Well spotted.
  10. Yeah, thats Reg. Might try and convince my wife to let me get one in the next couple of months.
  11. Yeah, good point that Dean, i was tought the same. Plus your not doubling the load on that limb. If it was me, i would of anchored higher which would of made it easier getting out on that limb, and dropped through the folk.
  12. Never used to, until i've pulled certain muscles. The one that always gets me is the elbow and shoulder across the chest. I look stupid doing it but saves me hurting myself again.
  13. Would love to have a hobbs, from what ive seen. Reg coates has one, all i keep doing is watching his videos.
  14. I bet that is a complete change for you, those weaver harness just keep on going. A mate of mine had one and just wanted it to fail the loler inspection so he could get a new one, it never did though. Think he gave up waiting and bought a new harness anyway.
  15. Just bought a Blackberry, lets see how long that last for. Samsung seemed to do pretty well for me, before that i had a Nokia, the one with the rubber outside that you could throw/drop even get it wet still worked.
  16. Me neither. I've uploaded some too. Do some more when i can. You've done a really good job on this site Steve.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
