  1. Looking at buying a shogun, not a sport. Has anyone got one or had one? Good and bad points would be good, had a freelander for a while but the ground clearance is pants, and has no low range which is crap. Cheers
  2. It may fit sitting normal on a road, but as soon as you start taking it off road at full articulation the may start rubbing the arches. Best off going on a forum and ask there.
  3. Yeah true didnt think to be honest Pete. I'll remove it in case it offends people. Sorry.
  4. Made me laugh so much mate, couldnt belive he did it. Its all fun Rupe, chill out.
  5. We all decided to go up the mountain and have some fun in the snow. Took some body boards, and a rubber ring. One rubber ring, crazy father in law,and steep hill and a big thud hitting the fence at the bottom. Sorry about the quality it was from my phone. Hope this works. 6. 265/70r15 would fit, also 235/70r16 would fit. Any bigger you would need to modify it. Suspension lift kit or wheel spacers but then it gets expensive.
  7. When boring in keeps your revs high,as the saw wont jump about. Take your time, dont rush and enjoy yourself.
  8. Well, next time you see him, ask him to send some money my way.
  9. Flyers are a good way to get out there, i got alot of my work from them when i first started, but the better the quality the better it makes your company look, if you know what i mean. Go for it mate, and the word will then spread. Good luck.
  10. Thats good to hear mate. Good to have contacts like the one you just done. I sub, but still do alot of my own work, and it went dead for a while but i have a few contracts with local B&B's which always keep me busy, when im not out and about. Did you just fell and leave the wood?
  11. Nice work Andy, you keeping busy then?
  12. Steve lets us know how you get on with it, i'd like to have a go myself.I would of gone with a running bowline myself, but thinking on it, if a rescue is needed it would make it very difficult.
  13. Thats the the hitch i use mate, when footlocking.
  14. That was wierd, kinda freeked me out, especially the girl. Balloon was cool though.
  15. This is going to make matters more confusing or help, i think what your trying to say is, you cant get the throwline around the main trunk, which would be safer than climbing a single limb, where there is a chance of either the branch snapping or the rope making its way to the centre of the branch, or working it way off the branch. I think im on your wave length Andy.
  16. Monkyed beat me to it, those big shots are amazing. Thats the next toy im buying.
  17. Maybe thats what i need then Andy, probley worth spending that, than wasting time trying to explain whats happened to the phone company. I thought touch screen since its either the track ball or the keys that brak, but thinking on it, it probley get scrached to hell.
  18. Imo i think word of mouth is always the best, and also on here. I've just paid over £600 for yellow pages ad which has just been printed, thought it was a bit steep to be honest.
  19. I run my saws in, i think it does do damage in the long run, and i think they'll pack in alot quicker than a saw thats been run in. I have bought a saw brand new out of the box, and through it in the deep end, and now its about 2yrs old and it just doesnt seem right, doesnt seem to hit its peak. Thats just my opinion though.
  20. Thats what i like about them, it does everything. All my e-mails get sent directly to my phone. Just think its a little too fragile for our line of work. Good for pen pushers as Buzz brought out. Maybe the blackberry touch would be better, no buttons to damage, no track ball either.
  21. Wow, suprised thats not damaged or lifted foundations. Or cracked windows.
  22. I think thats how i broke mine with it being in my pocket. I think i broke it yesterday smacking it against the chipper. Might get a spaer old phone and keep the blackberry in the landy or somthing. Was just a bit ticked off this morning, with it being my second phone, i have a password on it to, and i couldnt even get into it. I'll have my new one tommorrow, lets count down the days until that one packs in.
  23. Maybe if i break each replacement they send, they may just get fed up and give me a different phone. Dont get me wrong, fantastic phone though, too delicate for our work i think.
