  3. Silky Sugoi, and i have a Natanoko.
  4. great little thing, worth the 35quid i paid, use it all the time now. Always handy to have in your collection, just the first 5feet or so you need to pull the rope through, but once you have the weight of the rope theres no stopping you. Pretty efficent i think.
  5. Only problem with throwing it with the knot still attached, is if your unlucky enough, it could get stuck. And that seriously sucks.
  6. Im so excited to see this and hopefully have a go. It looks better thought out, and looks comfortable. Really like the accesories points on the back.
  7. Thanks or the web site address, finally had a look.
  8. Anyone have any pics of this harness?. Heard alot of tech details of it but no pics.! Does anyone know if it'll be at the woodfest show in north wales?
  9. I was taught on forward leaning trees, you do your usual sink, then bore in, then fell by cutting at a 45 degree to stop it spliting, but on a normal fell you wouldnt do your felling cut at an angle, it is bad practice, as has been said you couldnt wedge or use your felling bar properly.
  10. There's always a way Jim, if you think you cant do it or cant find that other anchor, you wont. Try a different route up and go through in your head which route your going to choose from on the ground. If that fails, get a Big Shot. Keep on climbing. I'd give you help with climbing but your a bit far for me really. Sorry
  11. Both nasty tree's. The one Yorkshireman's gotta deal with is pretty serious. I wouldnt want my kids playing in the back garden with that tree there. Have you got the job Yorkshireman?
  12. Ditto. Watching people who are good at footlocking is very cool though.

  16. Thats what i thought, that'll do damage more than good if you werent dismantling it. If a were dismantling it you'd just be wearing your iron anyway. Not sure on them, like the ribbs on the toe cap though.
  17. That's Shocking. Not much you can add when you see that.
  18. The day I have no fear is the day i leave the industry So true.
  19. its gotta be spiking for me, i slipped a while back pretty bad and had a really bad groan strain, my ankle was by my head. But we all havet to do it.
  20. I've always done flat felling cuts, angled cuts is bad practice.
  21. I'll have't to keep an eye out for that. Looking forward to seeing it.
  22. I'd love to do that, but my dads got really bad eyes, can only see a foot in front of him and thats when he has drops put in. We get on great though and always get on. Think its great you have a good relationship, Mclennan.
