  1. That is bloody shocking. You want to report the gits for doing that.
  2. I've got a crab very similar to that, still use it but for my saw. dont think i'd climb on it, but thats just my opinion.
  3. and here's another thought. what if that was the first time it had ever happened to him? what Im also not saying, is that you were wrong to highlight a possible cause of injury that the arborist faces, but you do seem to see everything as very black and white. One little slip condemns a person indefinitely, but accidents by their very nature, cannot be eradicated. Very well said Jim.
  4. Thats better Rupe, havent got neckache watching it.
  5. So true Mike. Its happened a few times to me, and it isnt a nice experience, pulled my groan when i slipped last. My knee was up by my forehead. Ouch.
  6. Ha. Im sure he'll appreciate that commment.
  7. Why whats wrong with the colour? I dont work too hard anyway.
  8. Hi-flex for me, cant fault them. Looking at these at the mo, i like the colour. StretchAir Type C Yellow Chainsaw Trousers. £179.00.
  9. I've always gone for BFG's. All terrain. They've got me most places and ive never got stuck, and i've really pushed them to there limits. Get good life outta them too.
  10. Go get yourself a book called 'the tree climbers companion'. Really good book, teaches you everything. Very good book.
  11. If your doing road work, then progressing on to cross, dont bother with rear sus, unless you get a lock out then your talking out of your budget. Get a hard tail, plenty of good ones about for the kinda money you want to spend.
  12. Have you been climbing on that?
  13. Well done Jim. Are you going to do your 39?
  14. Try'd being nice about it, but guess your a complete T***.
  15. Take a chill pill Mani. There were alot of mistakes made in that clip at the end of it, and everone has come to that conclusion. The thread has lost its way, by getting personal about other members. I dont know you, you dont me, i dont have any right slagging you off and your work / experience. Just bear that in mind.
  16. i think some your comments Mani, are pretty insultive, criticizing other members abililty's when you dont know them,i'd love to put you in front of the more experienced on the site and see how you fair against them. Everyone has a right to an opinion, but when you start getting personal to other members, i think its too far.
  17. been there, done that, i now im married, and the spending get worse.
  18. Fair play, i wish i had your luck. good luck to you and hope it works keep comin for you mate.
  19. Im quiet at present. Had a couple of removals but it think people are just holding on to there money at mo.
  20. No dig here, but if you dont advertise or have your van sign written, how'd you get the work? i can see what you mean by people being bitchy but thats life. Its everwhere. I think having a good network of tree surgeons, climbers, groundies people with the equipment you may not have, is a cracking idea.
  21. I think its a great idea, and like the idea of a private forum.
