  2. Welcome Lewis. How'd you get on with your 31?
  3. The morpho? Lucky You.
  4. Bit late, but congrats to both of you. Well done.
  5. As soon as your rope hets past 45 degrees, alot of people get uncomfortable, best way is to walk backwards not forwards and bend your legs. Just get the highest, safe anchor you can. You'll get your technique eventualy and it comes with confidence.
  6. i think that imo if you start a days climb with a sound prussic and come out at the end with a dangerous one then this may be due to your technique rather than the cord you use. Couldnt put it better myself
  7. Is a very pricey harness compared to what is out there, but it looks the dogs dangleys and there somethin about it. Love to have a go with the harness, just to see how it feals, dont think i can afford it at the mo with moving house an that.
  8. Good Luck m8. Let us know how you get on.
  9. I use it, never had a bad problem with it, but as has been said does have a habit of binding. Everyone is diffrent with what they use, use what you feel comfortable with.
  10. Bfg all the way. Will out last the grabbers. Bfg's arent noisey on the road i dont think either. Swear by em quality tyre.
  11. Dont use assenders myself, and thats why.
  12. I feel sick. Funny though.
  13. My names down. Control yourself Huffski.
  14. yer i went yesterday, to be fair its a good day out if your intrested in bits and bob's kinda stuff, but as for arb equipment and the likes, wasn't that impressed this year. something was lacking. Might go the AA fair, couldnt buy anything i wanted because there was no stalls selling equipment.
  15. Thats what risk assesment is all about. Ive had my fair share, and its always worth going with your gut instinct. One job i had i was saying no, but the groundie i had with me was saying do it. Never did though, always go with you gut. Good call matty.
  16. Dont think there is a defintion of "saddo". She basically thinks its a bit 'lame' that i choose bright colour's for a rope. If you understand that.
  17. True, suppose he's doing it not us. Safety wise your spot on, but i only use the method when im spiking down the main stem, so as you said if you slip on only go a litlle way, and then it'll choke.

We have 1, ok for a toy. we only use it for snedding, nothing more, as Steve already said.
  19. Nice 1. Was it fairly straight forward?
  20. choking your strop will make awkward for you to move, when i did a row of them, about a year back, what i did was get a high anchor then take about three of four tops off, anchor to another one, and take the previous anchor point down. If that makes sence.
