  17. Pecontools, Do you mean same method as the dog tooth cut?
  18. Has / is anyone using the Treeimagineers Hitch Climber? and is there much benift between a micro pulley or paying the extra and getting the Hitch Climber?
  19. Not much you can say now, only to remember you cant put the hinge back so leave it thicker than usual, and when you want to check the hinge is parallel eye it through with your sink cut. I proberly not explained that very well. I've had a bad day, and my head aches.
  20. thing is with rope when you wrap it up, (unless you use a rope bag) you naturaly put twist in the line, so best way round it,is not to fight the twist in the rope just leave it and if it gets too bad, find a big area and walk with your rope and it should un-twist. As for the VT i rekkon your using too thin a diamater of rope to make your VT. Try different size, see how you get on.
  21. I use that method, then use my wire strop when im on the main stem with no anchor points. My strop is 3mtrs and if i need anymore than that i just use the other end of my climbing line. Gets a bit messy when have a strop, just gets in the way.
