  3. Yer there is, type in a search on youtube 'crane failure', and it'll be up on there somewhere. People have mixed opions on who's fault it was.

  6. Yer use't to, just end up shouting anyway. Only time i will defo use them is when there's traffic control.
  7. I thought it best to cut at chest height rather than waist height, well thats what I was taught:confused1: Maybe ive been doing it wrong all these years
  8. That happened to a mate of mine dismanlting a tree, the crane driver told him to keep taking a bit more, bit more and then when the crane driver was happy to make the cut. Apart from it tipped the crane over. There was a row of terrace houses below, just missed them but took all the power out. Mixed opions from people as to who's fault it was, but the climber came off with the compensation. The hse got involved and the climber was questioned under caution. Turns out the crane company he hired, gave him a mechanic to operarte the crane so he wasnt qualified to operate it anyway.

  12. Nobodys perfect, but the way we work as a team, everyday i go to my job before i climb its the same lectuer. When the saw is running dont come under the tree. Simple. When its comes to problems at home, they should stay at home, its not easy, i know, but the job we all do is too dangerous to not think of our surroundings.
  13. When the saw is running no-one enters the drop zone until my saw is off.

  18. Those cotton dipped in rubber are good, and grip well, but i always find they pinch in the friction hitch.
