  2. this is that i have...Petzl macrograb (12-19mm)....the smaller version is a micrograb (9-13mm)
  3. Yeah its the same looking as yours but has another large hole in the top where the rope is....it says it will take a 19mm rope and my flipline is yale 12mm xtc will take a pic give me a min

  5. I have the same line, 50m purple with pink and blue specs on it....pretty good stuff
  6. another tip i recommend is to be careful where the throw line is when you're throwing.....i recently threw my throwbag and the line went up behind me and into the webbing on my hand and burnt a nice hole....was agony and the customer wasnt too impressed at my language either!!
  7. Right o mate cheers...will give it a try....bit of a pain keep unbolting the bloody thing but doesnt look like it will eat into the rope like i have seen with some of the other guy's grabs
  8. it says 12 -19mm.....and in small print for synthetic rope only.....so its ok to put on my steelcore then fella?
  9. Went into my local forestry shop this morning to buy a rope grab for my steel strop (normally use a prussick) and they sold me a purple Petzl Macrograb....but im not sure whether thats right or not.. can anyone help?

  16. Do you find that it gets overloaded when nearly full and when u drive home you are looking up at the sky?? haha
  17. Have a 346 too and thats pretty good too, no real probs with that either as yet
  18. Really....thats worrying i have always said i would replace my 357 when it dies.... so thats not good to hear.... not too keen on the newer "electrolux" huskys though
  19. Have a 357 and it is the best saw ever!!!! look after it and it looks after me....bought it in 2002 and has never let me down...ever!!!!

  21. Ha Ha very funny..... all i can say is the bloody thing never oils properly anyway so when i do larger trees i use the husqvarna....the pic was only taken as it was a "one off" that i was using a crap saw
  22. Ha Ha yeah i totally agree with that...the 335/338xpt are not up to scratch, the Stihl mid range are getting better but i particularly hate the low revving of the big stihls....Husky all the way i say:icon14:
  23. Im very sad to say that it is a 660....has power but sounds crap and i have had loadsa probs with it...have never been let down by a husky as yet

Yeah mate....definitely...especially when a job takes a bit longer than expected and you know there's a full load of chip to shovel off....still it makes up for it when you can get off-road and chip and its quite small so will fit in places where tractors etc wount...so swings and roundabouts
