  1. wheelbarrow with greedy boards for the gardener....c/w tipper....4wd, years mot:wave:
  2. Nah...Pays for the 20 tubes of savlon the mrs buys to rub on your forearms lol
  3. two thirds of the way through reducing some horrible Connies
  4. Ha ha i love it...so true:icon14:
  5. Do you find that it gets overloaded when nearly full and when u drive home you are looking up at the sky?? haha
  6. Have a 346 too and thats pretty good too, no real probs with that either as yet
  7. Really....thats worrying i have always said i would replace my 357 when it dies.... so thats not good to hear.... not too keen on the newer "electrolux" huskys though
  8. Have a 357 and it is the best saw ever!!!! look after it and it looks after me....bought it in 2002 and has never let me down...ever!!!!
  9. was told to leave the stump that high mate...always cut low otherwise
  10. Ha Ha very funny..... all i can say is the bloody thing never oils properly anyway so when i do larger trees i use the husqvarna....the pic was only taken as it was a "one off" that i was using a crap saw
  11. Ha Ha yeah i totally agree with that...the 335/338xpt are not up to scratch, the Stihl mid range are getting better but i particularly hate the low revving of the big stihls....Husky all the way i say:icon14:
  12. Im very sad to say that it is a 660....has power but sounds crap and i have had loadsa probs with it...have never been let down by a husky as yet
  13. Yeah mate....definitely...especially when a job takes a bit longer than expected and you know there's a full load of chip to shovel off....still it makes up for it when you can get off-road and chip and its quite small so will fit in places where tractors etc wount...so swings and roundabouts
  14. the 66 engine sounds shite anyway....surprised u noticed:proud:
  15. Wouldnt it fall apart and blow away??
  16. My groundie is only 5'5 and cant stand the heat though
  17. having said that though the old Hi-lux pulls it a treat.....with your truckman top you will have trouble getting in to shovel the chips out...mine is open on top...you would get very hot too as the chips heat up...a grain shovel makes the job easier...or my mates tipper lol
  18. Well i dropped off some full loads to a local farmer and filled ton seed bags...it holds four and a half of those:scared:... I cant think of the exact size at the mo but wouldnt want it any bigger!!!
  19. Yeah you have to watch the weight though...had mine a bit heavy many times....but the truck is good as gold mate and the back i build can be fitted in 2 seconds easily
  20. I have a Hilux and made a higher back myself...i have a 6" PETROL Entec machine....and everything else goes on the wood pile but i have gone into partnership with another fella who has a bigger LDV and is a hardworking groundie
  21. Yeah just be careful mate and get as much as you can in writing, even if you are freindly with this guy anything can happen in the future Good luck though
  22. It will take you ages to chip with a small chipper like that...you will end up cutting small branches off branches to fit them in....whereas a bigger chipper will pull them all through...also think about Conifer Willow and Poplar etc which is absolute shite and u cant really sell it as "bucks" so u would be gratefull for a larger chipper. but at the end of the day it depends what you want to get into and where you see yourself in the future
  23. Something i would recommend is to "pay rent" dont ever "do favours" etc to pay for you're yard...it never works in your favour and you always get called on when u dont need it and it can potentially lose you jobs and money.
