Haven't bought any saws off him but I did buy a scag 48 mower. It was in lovely condition and he even sent me out a steering rod that wasn't right when I got it. Top guy ?

Well I'm still here. The mis diagnosis cost me another round of chemo on top of what I should have had. Tingly fingers and a few trapped nerves is all I seem different to before, and my veins have shrunk. Still climbing, am a dad now and only have to be checked yearly, so all is good. Hope all you lot are still checking (or getting someone else to) your balls. Still got my fingers crossed for you Stubby?

I need to replace my Kombi kit but not sure which way to go. I have always had Stihl but after looking at the latest polesaw head it looks like a plastic piece of sh*t and not worth the money. Would be fine for pruning but I reckon on a hedge reduction it wouldn't last 5minutes. So in experience is the head as poor as it looks? And engine wise is the km94 the best engine to go for? I'd like the power of the bigger one but hate the 4mix engine. Thanks in advance ?

Recently had to change how I store my ropes etc. All in breathable rope bags and harness etc in a big husky bag. But it's now in a steel cupboard (to stop Rolands). Inside a tin barn, that gets very hot in summer, very cold in Winter and sweats if my neighbor has his heater on if in site. Am I worrying over nothing? How do you lot store your climbing kit?

I use one of these. Invaluable for hard clay, sharpen to cut roots (works like an axe) and splits concrete on jobs where it's not worth bringing the hydraulic breaker. I normally dig with a straight shaft grafter/rabbiting spade but near trees and in hard stony ground and dry clay this chissel and the shoveholers will do the job no problem.

What are you using them for? On my second pair, first were the stretch air arborist and now the new arborist, they are superb. Hard wearing, very flexible, waterproof. Almost make me a half decent climber since converting from SIP. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. And you can buy iron on repair patches....keeps the wife happy ?

Had mark 3 and 4 hiluxs, absolutely brilliant, but as has been said towing capacity is poor and they ain't quick but reliable with good build quality. Only problem I had was with leaf springs, but fitting the upgraded springs with greese points and poly bushes, never a problem since
