    burn crap and hey you get crap results. bellows of smoke every 3 to 4 hours ,which is what you get with pallets, most annoying.

    POINTLESS BUREAUCRATIC WASTE. here in the uk you require a felling license. required for RHI. first job for the committee we have nominated or elected, is to dissolve the whole thing and any funding to go to felling license department.

    no difference. 40t straw or 40t of softwood chip. oak is the worst thing you could burn in a water jacketed boiler. tar condenses. needs silver birch to burn. THE difference is 40t straw----big pile 40t oak------small pile which in a 295 will just mean the frequency of reloading is less.

    40t of biomass at 20% mc will produce around 100,000 kw. are you just runing the kiln or house as well.
