  1. I have contacted the seller to enquire how they are getting around Stihl's restriction on online sales. I let you know when I get a response...
  2. Yes, 3 emails last week and another this morning.
  3. You may be liable to Capital Gains Tax but not on the whole difference between the purchase price and final selling price. There are generous allowances even before you start to pay CGT - especially for your 'Principal Private Residence' i.e. your main home.
  4. Welcome to the Forum Andi. Thanks for your 'visitor' message earlier. Next time you're passing my place feel free to call in for a cuppa.
  5. I'm sure I've seen your tipper passing by. Feel free to pop in for a cuppa next time you're passing. Cheers, Greg

  6. Gutted to hear your bad news Dan. I'll keep my eyes peeled over my way. My heart always skips a beat when I hear news like this. If you've got contracts to fulfil and need the use of my quadchip then please don't hesitate to give me a shout.
  7. Happy New Year David! Have a good one! Hope you're keeping busy.

    See you soon, Greg

  8. As Skyhuck says. When you go for your cs38 training / assessment, remember to take your purchase receipts with you to prove that the kit is under 6 months old.
  9. Very, very nice!! Thanks for posting. Just in case I win on the lottery tonight, can you give me a ball park price for that Mog without the chipper. Cheers

    1st Puma service

£600, you will have even more of a shock when its time for the 2nd (B) service!
  11. If you are anywhere near Congleton, Cheshire give Adrian Carvell a call. m: 07912343699
  12. I hire my QuadChip out, with operator (me), to two local tree surgeons about 4 times a month. I get about 3 calls a month from private punters who have cut down their own trees and require chipper hire but not many hire me out when they hear the price - £240 per day, and I think I'm cheep! To the one's that do hire me I always insist that the brash is stacked properly with no rubbish amongst it.

    sky 1 now

Anyone note the use of spikes??
  14. Received the email but I have no need to buy in logs so it was deleted straight away.
  15. Hi Dan and welcome to the forum. How are things at Predator? Going well I hope. Have you got a link to the YouTube video you mention? Perhaps put it on the Predator video page. I'm currently making a video of my P28RX in action for my website. I'll forward a copy to you as soon as its is complete to add to the Predator site (that's if you like it).
  16. Crane companies will have different prices for 'crane hire' or 'contract lift'. With crane hire you are responsible for the whole operation from when the driver leaves the depot until return. Contract lift - the crane company is responsible. Make sure you know which one you are signing for on the company's paperwork. I personally go for 'contract lift', costs more but at least I'm not responsible if the driver has an accident on the way to the job!
  17. I have to do exactly the same with Internet Exploder / XP and Chrome / XP
  18. Try Adrian Carvell in Congleton tel: 07912343699 He used to run the courses at Reaseheath but now offers NPTC training in house (might be a little cheaper than Reaseheath too).
  19. There's no law against running a business from home. The only concern the local authority might have is if you have LOTS of customers visiting your home - which might cause a parking problem / noise etc A few years ago someone made a complaint about me running a business from home but the L/A was unable to do anything about it as my business was "based" at home, not "working" from home i.e. running a shop.
  20. I have the WX640 and echo all of the above comments.
  21. If you have a smartphone, download Google Sky Map (free). It will show you where the planets are, constellations, galaxy's and more for your current position.
  22. Still happening to me, using Internet Expoder & Google Chrome.
