  1. Mine is the 130 model. The 150bhp would be "nice to have" but I find the 130 has more than enough power. I've still got the drawings/spec for the grp chip box & tool box if you want them for ideas.
  2. I really like my Canter on the road... but it's pants on damp grass!
  3. If your boss is buying, how about an Iveco Daily 4x4 :-)
  4. Having said the above, we do have a commercial client who will not issue a Permit to Work when snow is lying on the ground. Personally, I find the mud on his site to be more of a hazard than snow.
  5. We will be plodding on as normal. Can't let a little snow get in the way of work :-)
  6. "id of said £500.00 but not been quoting for stumps long" Andy, looks like I need to increase my prices :-)

    What phone!!

If you're considering an iPhone 5 then compare with a HTC One X +. Love my One X and the Gadget Show rated it well above the iPhone 5.
  8. Think its TipMaster. They advertise on here (or have done in the past).
  9. Many thanks for the info. At that sort of money I'll definitely be getting shut of my old oil fired boiler.
  10. That looks like a very neat set up. I'm looking to install a similar setup but 25kW. Had my first installation quote come back at £17, 800 + vat which I thought was a bit steep. can you tell me the make of the boiler and accumulator tank. Cheers.
  11. Bump... Has anyone found a "fix" for this problem yet. Cheers.
  12. Another vote for the above combo. Haven't tried the all Velcro version so can't comment on them.
  13. I have exactly the same problems as above. I first thought it might be the 130 engine being to powerful but the 90 has the same problems. It does the job very well but have to keep a stock of plastic sleaves and bolts to keep them serviceable. Come on Stihl, get it sorted.
  14. Looking through the posts on this thread is a reminder for me to put my prices up as I would have done that job for £45.
  15. There is a book you can study but the three of us just sat the test and all passed. Multi choice and common sense.
  16. We have them. On one of our commercial jobs we can't get passed the security lodge without showing them. The card doesn't cost that much in the great scheme of things so for us well worth having.
  17. Paul, you WILL be seeing green on Monday morning :-) Sorry for the de-rail.
  18. Hi Rick, I'd definitely bale out and wait for the lightning to pass. If you were working with me at the time I'd insist you did the same :-) Remind me I said that when it happens lol.

  20. Hi Pete, if your going going to the the Lakes try the Bogtrotters Used to go riding with them for about 6 years before other interests took over. They must know every route/bridleway in the Lakes and a great bunch of lads & lasses.
  21. Very, very nice! I moved my reversing camera to an off centre position so I didn't have to keep cleaning the chip dust off it. However, yours is so high up it won't be affected :-) As I said, very nice truck. Let me know if it comes up for sale in 3 years time.
  22. Wallensteins are made in Canada where they know a thing or two about log splitting :-) Anybody else have any recommendations for the opening poster?
