    Quad chip

No problems with my Quad Chip. As said above, when the blades need a new sharp face you just turn them 90 degrees. The turntable is a great feature too - I didn't think I would use it as much as i do, wouldn't be without it now. If you are thinking of spending that kind of money on a new chipper then get a few different makes on demo as I did to make sure you find the right one for your needs.
  6. I agree with the above review. I have the wx640 and it's a fantastic bit if kit. I ilke the mod you've made on the operating levers in the first two photo's :-)
  7. Have you not already asked this question the other day?

  10. Ditto the above post. I've got the wx640 version and has split everything put through it.
  11. I was looking at the Iveco 4x4 earlier in the year. They come as 3.5t or 5.5t gross weight. Single cab or Double cab. The 3.5t version doesn't have much of a payload though :-( I'd love one but just can't justify the asking price. Think I'll have to wait a few years until a few second hand one's come along.
  12. Hi Simon, sorry to de-rail but thought I'd let you know that your web site signature link isn't working.
  13. Very nice work. Can't wait to start milling some nice wood myself.
  14. Hi Pete, it was robsonkay.co.uk Can't help you on the successful purchaser though. p.s. The Tree Works Ltd auction was nothing to do with my company!

Paul, is the site close to me? (Congleton)
  19. I tried a number of machines and finally plumped for the Greenmech Quad Chip. If you're anywhere near Cheshire and want a demo just give me a shout. Cheers,
  20. I've got the WX640 road tow model and it has split everything put through it, including lots of horrible arb waste. Excellent machine! If anyone wants a demo then feel free to contact me. It's hire out at £70 per day.
  21. How about the Grindomatic V12
  22. Which version did you buy? i.e. 20mW / 30mW etc. Cheers.
  23. I don't think you will find the price online (may be wrong though). I 'm sure Peter from GreenMech will be along in a moment to give you the figures.
  24. It is disputed as to when the plant was first brought to the West and to the United Kingdom. The plant was first registered as Reynoutria japonica in 1777 by a Dutchman named Houttuyn. Its introduction to the West is likely to have begun circa 1823 when Philippe von Siebold is said to have brought the plant to his nursery in Leiden, Holland. Von Siebold sent the flower to the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew in August 1850 and was introduced to the gardens. It was planted at the Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh in 1854. The spread of the plant and its rhizome across the country can be attributed to a number of factors: • The commercial sale of the plant, beginning in the 19th century, as at the time it was regarded as a fashionable ornamental plant. • Traveling along watercourses • Transportation by and on vehicles such as cars, trains and lorries. Some areas of vehicles, such as tires, are susceptible to picking up pieces of the plant and rhizome • Fly-tipping • Urban development: the transportation of soil and materials for the construction of roads and buildings distributed the rhizome around many modern urban areas.
  25. I'm 32" and have to tighten the waist belt quite a lot so you should be alright with a size 1. Always best to try though first. I'll have to act as your groundie for the day whilst you try
