  3. as many wires as the old style harvester heads, they had 32 wires to valve chest...now they have just 4 and 1 of them is a spare, happy hunting

  5. i think woodsplitters are a 2 person operation...........the wife to lift the logs onto splitter and us to pull the lever...........personally i worked my wood splitter horizonatally all the time saves the old back

  9. bottom crankpulley what u got to watch out for, other than that they run great
  10. gave up rivotting them together, never lasted long.......used to overlap the ends and bind together with black tape, 2m or 3m chipwood we just mark with the saw as we sned instead.
  11. spoke to a Stihl chain techinican at a german forestry show stand, he said proper manual filing should out perform a guide by 5%......every little helps
  12. u havnt anything fouling the flywheel, a bit of wood sticking through the starter casing clicking against the flywheel when its rotating?

  14. hi tw, i have 2001 aborplant conversionTW150 tracked chipper, had some problems with rollers, intake would work and as soon as reverse was used the intake would no longer work, after 5 mins or so the intake would start again, we seemed to have resolved this replacing the hydraulic solonoid valve, intake and reverse working perfectly now . As the same time the no stress was not working, the cable had been knocked off, we have replaced the cable, now the rollers wont stop going on intake, no reverse or stop. At present i have by passed the no stress box, everything is working fine, feeding the bigger bits with stop button. It is grey box no stress box. any obvious ideas? cheers g

    any 1 got a spare handle/trigger mechanism, i hav broke the plastic mounting, saw revs on when caught on branch etc. cheers
  16. the only negative about moving large forestry machinery down the main road at speeds they not designed to do for long periods.. is the wheel hubs tend to overheat and can do damage to the bearings, but i did drive a county 764 with large all round wheels 70 miles home once, flashing lights and following vehicle should do the trick

  18. if 1 of the bolts that attach the hydraulic pump to roller has sheared, the roller will slightly drop. worth a look
  19. thats a bit vague, the crop could be carrot shaped or very stretched, u need average tree height to make a more accurate calculation..
  20. whats where i got them,,,,,£119 10 rods and 2 brushes delivered i dont think u will beat that anywhere
  21. just bought 10 superflex rods and free brush.....£10 a rod....some of the woodstove sites sell them for £20 a rod......ideal for liners more flexible and will get round bends better

  23. u have to have a sponsor before u can go pts tickets......they will arrange it for u and if u are lucky pay for it.
  24. you just have to look at the pictures above, where the beech is en mass theres nothing growing under bar beech regen, no ground flora or shrubs, i am all for the odd beech but i dont want to kick beech leaves around the woodland floor
