  2. trying not to be cynical but where has all the grant money gone for planting this......they are not paying contractors/workers to do the work, getting volunteers and pocketing the money and waste it in house..i am afraid it happens all the time now rant over
  3. cracking saw, the only problem i had with it, was the small end bearing went. fortunately i stop when it started to vibrate and got it fixed under warranty, got a 362xp now, feels a tad heavier but works well
  4. sounds like the spool needs adjusted down, or maybe a bit of dirt holding it open too much

  13. needed to replace stoves rope seal this week, tried local stove shop but he was not very helpful , ended up ordering direct from stove maker, £15 delivered seemed a bit steep for 2metres of rope but at least saved the diesel running into glasgow. Anyway package arrived on thursday, not only sent me the full rope seal kit but also a new front glass worth £80+ vat,

  18. That fall is called Corra Linn, i think there is another 3, together they make up The Falls of Clyde, pic was taken oct 9 by the wifey, its a brisk 10 min walk from new lanark up water and that is as far the Salmon get up the Clyde
