  1. i dont know why everyone going on about dual purpose.....its any vehicle up to 3.5 laden doesnt need a tacho.....u dont count ur trailer if its under 1025kg some of the heavy 4x4s with heavy tracked chippers may go over the limit
  2. You may be allowed to drive a minibus if it is not used for hire or reward. Hire or reward generally means any payment in cash or kind made by or on behalf of passengers that gives them right to be carried in a vehicle. hire and reward means getting paid to take an item form A to B.......not using when to get to work

  5. so transit tipper pulling an 1100kg tracked chipper on a trailer will be ok
  6. as far as i can make out........if u pull a trailer weighing under 1000kg unladen...... this unladen weight does not count towards gross laden weight of vehicle and chipper.....so as long as the laden weight is under 3.5tonnes u dont have to has an operators license?

  8. the husqvarna 440 is a nice size to start with, husqvarna or stihl both make good saws, i personally prefer Husqvrana for groundwork
  9. ways of waste disposal to make money? convert waste timber into firewood for sale, sell chip to garden centres/ equestrian centres ways of expanding client bases? internet search engines, local newspapers, local shop windows, signwriting on vehicles, sponsoring local junior football team any specialist equipment that may have made any jobs easier? chipper, turfer, tipping vehicle, tractor with loader, petrol logsplitter

  11. its easy enough to do urself......i have nver put a saw for a service....only when its something major or under warranty
  12. hope u have kept a good record of all breakdowns, phonecalls, trips to garage.

  17. roadside price less what it cost u get it to roadside....... pay a price by the weight ticket saves any arguments.
