  14. in a perfect world and i had the available buildings for storage, i would buy in 100 tons of chipwood 2m....specifying nothing bigger than 10 inch at butt, store inside, the idea would be to have enough wood in front of u for 4 years, the biggest expense is splitting timber so this would do anyway with it, assuming u use a load a year , u buy in a load every year to refill the stock.......giving 3 years in door to dry before u get to use it and use an outdoor burner that u can chuck 2m lengths into

  18. well just mark all the trees to fell, as sell it as that....let the buyers work out volume. No trees to be felled unless marked
  19. i take it ur marking the trees to be thin for the contractors to cut.......easiest way could be to take a sample area maybe 100 by 100, mark the trees and get an average tree size. then count all the trees for the total area that are marked for thinning and u will have a rough volume for the buyers. Sell it as such.
  20. there is no vat when importing from Sweden (EEC countries) if ur Vat registrated.... the exact reason escapes me at the moment. they dont charged u and u dont reclaim from UK Vatman if u get it picked up and delivered to ship and then to hull it was about £900+vat including insurance... 2 years ago
