  1. accumulator size depends on volume of water needed for ur system
  2. usually best if ur using Larson trap, if u swop freshly caught bird with the decoy bird evrytime .......then the decoy bird wont die on u

  10. in a perfect world and i had the available buildings for storage, i would buy in 100 tons of chipwood 2m....specifying nothing bigger than 10 inch at butt, store inside, the idea would be to have enough wood in front of u for 4 years, the biggest expense is splitting timber so this would do anyway with it, assuming u use a load a year , u buy in a load every year to refill the stock.......giving 3 years in door to dry before u get to use it and use an outdoor burner that u can chuck 2m lengths into
  11. no not really.........do u know how to work ut the volume of a standing tree.......hectare 2.5 acres .....measure all the trees to fell.......why u worrying about the trees not to fell?

  13. this may help u all Felling licence exemptions There are five categories of felling licence exemption: •Location •Type of tree work •Volume and diameter •Other permissions •Legal and statutory requirements Further details are provided in the table below. Please contact Forestry Commission Scotland before felling to confirm that a licence is not necessary. Exemption category Exemption details Location You do not need a licence to fell trees in: •a garden •an orchard •a churchyard or •a designated open space (Commons Act 1899) Type of tree work You do not need a licence to carry out: •lopping •topping •pruning •pollarding Volume and diameter You do not need a licence: •To fell less than 5 cubic metres in a calendar quarter (Please note that you cannot sell more than 2 cubic metres in a calendar quarter); •For trees that have the following diameters when measured 1.3 metres from the ground are: ◦8 cm or less ◦10 cm or less for thinnings ◦15cm or less for cutting coppice Other permissions You do not need a licence if you have a current permission under: •An approved Dedication Scheme plan; or •Planning permission (granted under the Town and Country Planning Act). Legal and statutory requirements You do not need a licence if you need to fell trees: •that are dangerous or to prevent a nuisance; •to prevent the spread of a pest or disease in accordance with a statutory notice served by a Forestry Commission Plant Health Officer; •to comply with an Act of Parliament; or •to enable you to carry out work as a statutory undertaker.
  14. well just mark all the trees to fell, as sell it as that....let the buyers work out volume. No trees to be felled unless marked
  15. i take it ur marking the trees to be thin for the contractors to cut.......easiest way could be to take a sample area maybe 100 by 100, mark the trees and get an average tree size. then count all the trees for the total area that are marked for thinning and u will have a rough volume for the buyers. Sell it as such.
  16. there is no vat when importing from Sweden (EEC countries) if ur Vat registrated.... the exact reason escapes me at the moment. they dont charged u and u dont reclaim from UK Vatman if u get it picked up and delivered to ship and then to hull it was about £900+vat including insurance... 2 years ago

  24. heres 1 we found n clients garden, dont really see many of these up our way especially as mature, had me stumped first day, but after speaking to Fifer the penny dropped
