  1. Nope - I'm afraid we don't have these... We may get some 15" in ..... but 6 months away! Need more people using Echo saws

  4. We have 74" guide bars from GB Australia. They are very good - based on their harvester bars. Also cheaper than Cannon... better as well (IMO but then I'm bound to say that;) MILLING BARS FOR STIHL CHAINSAWS | Product Categories | Alaskan Mill ? Mobile Chainsaw Mills
  5. It is brand new only been out for 1 week! It looks pretty space age - and Oregon are some of the great grand masters of chain making!
  6. Got it! Yes you can order off the Chainsawbars ? chainsaw chains, chainsaw bars and chainsaw accessories website as well.
  7. Yes just order on the website Sugihara Guide Bars no code needed - we will add this offer to any of the .325 .050 bars that are bought over the bank holiday.
  8. As in another thread Oregon have released a new chain - 95TXL. This is similar to their 95VPX chain (which was always a great chain) - a .325 chain that takes a narrower kerf. But this new 95TXL chain is a completely new beast made from different materials, new grind geometry, longer stay sharp and better lubrication. 15% faster than any other chain out there!! Worth a try if you have a 40cc to 60cc saw... We have the Sugi bars to run this chain - just put your chainsaw into the selectors and scroll down to find the .325 .050 bars Sugihara Guide Bars And as a special try out offer: Buy a pro lam bar - get x2 chains free (the old style 95VPX and new style 95TXL) Buy a light type pro or solid pro - get x3 chains free (2x old style 95VPX and x1 new style 95TXL). Compare the two and put your findings on here. Pics to follow from my iphone!
  9. Hi Steve - yes prob would be ok. They are fit for purpose but just not as well made as the original. After this lot are sold I am increasing the price - we can't sell them at this price and we only did it to challenge the other importer. We have around x30 of these left.
  10. Yes - as Morten states they work on both!
  11. Alun - have also refunded £5-00+vat to you. Please try and use the fair postage button if you can though!
  12. That's brilliant work for third carve! Got some talent there lad
  13. I'll refund you the £5 Pete!
  14. I posted this in the chainsawbars area so apologies for duplication! Better placed here in Alaskan... We have just got these in - SawTroll quick release clamps for the Alaskan Mill. You can also use one set if you have a small log mill. Buy here - http://alaskanmill.co.uk/product-cat...laskan-spares/ Everyone knows what a faff it is setting the height of an Alaskan - these make it far easier and save you having to dig a spanner out! Vid to watch as below: [ame] [/ame] We only have limited numbers of these at the moment so if you fancy them get in quick. Also - postage will be cheaper if this is all you are buying - use the postage reducer tool to bring the postage down to £3.95.

I think all Oregon chains are getting a make over soon! This .325 .050 chain I reckon will be really good on all the 50cc saws and either side of that size.
  17. The new Oregon 95TXL should enable longer bars to be run on less powerful saws as well. Takes a narrower kerf but is still .325 .050 - very new so not many reports on it yet.
  18. Thanks Darrin Pretty sure we can fit you up - but trouble is there is a fair bit of choice - do you want the cheapest set up or the best? What size bar? If you pick a bar from here GROUP 1 Stihl chainsaws | Product Categories | Sugihara Guide Bars It'll then list the compatible chain and sprocket options underneath.

I'm getting reels in this week - it is supposed to be 15% faster than any other chain in .325 out there but not tried it yet. It looks very nice and is different from all other Oregon chain... Nice to see a new chain from Oregon.
  20. Hmmmm.... should not do this with any bar. Sounds like is either too tight a chain or not enough oil (blocked oil hole and or oiler not turned up enough). Do you give the bar a good scrap to clear out the black crud at the bottom? That sucks up the oil. But something is not right there.... You have to watch the Sugi bars - the rails are as hard as it is possible to make them BUT if they get too hot you can damage the metal and then they can chip more easily than other bars.
  21. Yes we do indeed and we'll add it to website shortly!
  22. Fair enough.... I looked at the Rototech chains and they seem expensive in 1/4 .043 compared to their other chains... have you tried one yet? They are not far off a Stihl chain in price. I bought a couple of Rototech chains (3/8 lo pro .050) - they actually come nicely presented. Not tried them yet though and as you say on a small top handle you really want the best chain out there. The issue is more that we have to supply dealers and give them a margin so in the end the Sugi chains would have to be around £18-00+vat for a 10" chain (at least) in order to make it viable to put out through our other dealers. That would be fine if it was better quality - so to start with we will sell cheap and get some feedback first. We'll also get some Chinese 1/4 .043 chain as well so at least there is another option.
