  1. Very proficient! Not easy that! I have seen videos with large aircraft with full cargo nets of deer!
  2. Not like you spending money! Did you have a good time abroad? Back on track, Treemotion!
  3. Mike, just got myself a GRCS but I do like the look of yours, I like the idea of the bollard over the Harken 46.
  4. How is the winch? Thought about getting one from Steven but they are not for sale here!
  5. Thinking about a memory map S7000. Large 7" screen with height, width restrictions etc.
  6. Why not work the tree with SRT?
  7. Mr P has one! Going to have a go with it today! 8)
  8. It could have been, didn't pay to much attention as I was driving a 7.5t myself!
  9. Sorry to hear about your truck Spike! You still working for Will, saw a 7.5t of theirs the other day up the 130.
  10. I knew it was one or the other! Section 5 changed forever!
  11. Nice! I have an SHR 970, well made and reliable. Unfortunately semi-autos above .22 have been made illegal for some time(post Dunblane).
  12. Figure of 8 at the base, this allows remote belay away from the base of the tree unlike a grigri where you would have to attend the device. I did back up the fig 8 with a hitch but this means you have to tend just like the grigri.
  13. Looks like it's a bit soft to me!
  14. Spike I price a lot of work on an evening in summer, keeps me busy though!
  15. The planning portal is a pain! It will not let you progress until you tick every box! It asks for maps photos reports all electronically some of which are not required for every tree.
  16. £200 for 3 men? Sounds very low to me!
  17. If the damage is 4 1/2 foot it probably is not Muntjac although I have seen most species of deer stand on their back legs to browse. Have you got Roe in the area? Get a stealth cam(remote camera) and see what's doing the damage.
  18. What height are the guards? Deer will leave a ragged end as when they bite it they tear it of because they have no top incisors. Hares will leave a neat cut and will leave cuttings lying around. Difficult to tell from the photos.
  19. Good point! I know of one LA that try to get you to fill out a 1APP which is ridiculous!

I use the proclimber smock, it's very good! I do like the hi viz though and I may try it next but I can't see my proclimber getting ruined for a long time!
  21. If you use the ISC hand ascenders they have a locking cam to prevent the rope coming out!
